Official "BIG NEWS" Thread

Are you serious? UK fans will be talking about Oscar 20+ years from now as an "all-time great" from the program. Please gain some perspective here.

True, but most people know Oscar is coming back. The NIL deal got worked out for him.

So I'm gonna go with either a.) Sharpe is returning or b.) We are getting Miller.

And I'm going with B.

I'm thrilled Oscar is back but I think most UK fans knew this.I was hoping for something unexpected but oh well.

Yawn? NPOY possibly returning for a senior year to lead us to a title and it’s a yawn? lmfao
We all knew this was already happening. Plus Cal is still our coach and there’s a good chance wheeler is still the point guard. Remember how that played out last season?

Ah. That’s good news. But we all knew this.
If true, it just seems a little strange that his return is done on Sportscenter. I don't mind it being done this way, but normally these come from Twitter or something in social media.

I would rather have Oscar back a million times over than Sharpe playing here. Sharpe has proven absolutely nothing!! He is nowhere near the player Ron Mercer was. No where near!!!

Good to have Oscar back. If we can add Miller would be great. I’d love to get SS back, but no chance there. Let’s get a upgrade in point and another shooter.

I don't think the issue would be that folks aren't excited that he's back. I think it would be that it's kind of been a given over the past few days and a major announcement for it, when it's already basically known, would be somewhat of a letdown.
You just proved my point. It's not a letdown, and it is a major announcement. A very small % of the UK fanbase is actually on message boards daily.

I am just a little confused why you are comparing Sharpe to a guy who played here 25 years ago.

Now Sharpe can slink out to the NBA on Friday while fans are still thrilled about Oscar.
