If you read our recent post about a couple of emerging offensive linemen from Ohio on Kentucky's recruiting board (read it here to refresh your memory) then you weren't surprised to learn that the Cats had offered Matt Sichterman.

Sichterman is a 6-foot-5, 266-pound three-star tackle from Kings Mills, as I reported before. He's got a twin brother, Dan Sichterman, who is a smaller defensive lineman for the school. But it's Matt who was offered by Kentucky recently.

Remember, Kentucky is only probably going to take two offensive linemen this year, and they're both tackles. Eddie Gran really seemed to like longer, leaner offensive linemen at Cincinnati, and it's easy to understand why those types of linemen would be ideal for his system. Sichterman seems to fit the bill.

He's not exactly a sleeper at all and now has offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia and Wake Forest.

His offers from Boston College and Virginia came after UK's offer (which was Feb. 24) so he's really blowing up. Probably not done grabbing offers.

Notably, he's also got an offer from Yale, so it's probably safe to say this kid's a strong student as well. I'll leave the evaluation to those interested by including his highlights from Hudl at the bottom of this post, just below his social media announcement of the Cats' offer.

As you can see from the tweet, he and his brother have obviously visited UK.
