That's where the game was lost last night. If we don't get better up front, we simply can't compete with SEC teams.

Hard to throw on your back.

Towles wouldn't have been on his back as much if he could make quicker decisions that would help out his OL.

He is also a statue back there. He almost never steps up in the pocket.

Watch that freshman Florida QB and his pocket presence compared to Towles, who is a 4th year junior.

Towles was not problem last night, fla Qb got help with two crazy catches that our Qb didn't get. It was the offensive line that was the difference

If you watch the big games yesterday, you will see that all the good defenses will get pressure on the qb..its how the qb handles it...the oline needs to play better, also put some on the staff. Most of your qb's had a lot of short quick stuff mixed in with a few deep balls...you can not allow the dlines in the sec to just pin there ears back...they will cause a lot of trouble in your backfield...

PT biggest issue is reading the d and getting the ball out quick...A lot of qbs had the ball out in less then 3 sec yesterday...I made a point to see how quick they get it out...this is some of auburn problem as well...if they stay with towles IMO they need to make the defense account for him in the running game...yes Neal brown new why he ran towles...

Towles could have helped himself by runing the ball a little more last night. I understand the our OC doesn't believe in the qb running. That being said it beats missing 66% of your passes and standing back there like a statue getting sacked. Towles had open lanes but for whatever reason did not take them.
