I say its Jaylen.....Diallo takes 2 trophies home but Jaylen is the difference maker.

Allows us to put Matthews on the perimeter and improve his guard play.

Newman hasn't really stood out on anything I've seen this spring.

Perhaps the Charlotte big man is the most ready, but I like Jaylen as a huge mismatch against others.

Jaylen brown has a weird lookn jumper. I pass on those. Don't need another Alex Poythress. A non-shooting athletic 3 man who can dunk. Ingram is the '3' you want not Brown.

Diallo and Ingram.

Diallo because energy always shows up along with athleticism and a 7'4" reach. He is Kenneth Faried with a decent free throw stroke. I also sense he is coachable and will improve greatly under Cal and KP.

Ingram because he is a mismatch, can shoot and defend with his wingspan.

Jaylen Brown is Archie Goodwin. A tremendous athlete with no jump shot. Would I take him? Sure, but he will be less valuable than either of the two above.

Malik Newman (see Brown above). I prefer him to Brown as a player but we have VERY high quality guards now therefore
I would take Brown over Newman for this team this year.

A roster of the following players will win 30 games
:
Labissiere
Poythress
Lee
Diallo
Willis
The Charlotte center

Ulis
Briscoe
Mathews
Ingram
Hawkins
Mulder

I think Diallo,Mulder and Ingram.Ingram has the most upside but Mulder is 2 years older. If we could land those 3 we are probably looking at 30+ wins.As I said a few days ago(probably confirmed last night) Briscoe and Ulis send Newman elsewhere. I don't think we would be involved with Mulder if we thought Newman was still on the table.

Diallo and Ingram are probably long shots at this point,Thorne and Mulder are more likely but we can hope one of them (Diallo,Ingram)sees the big blue light before it is too late.

I don't agree with all of your conclusions, but you are right that Briscoe outplayed Newman twice in the ASGs. Slice was a OAD at Kentucky, but his recruitment of Briscoe will have big impact for us. Counting Labissiere Briscoe Matthews, but not Floreal, we have 8 players on scholarship. I believe Calipari will add 3-4 more. Mulder very likely. Maker 50-50. Thorpe somewhat likely. Newman has to dig down deep and decide between Kentucky and MSU. Is Newman enough of a competitor to commit to an elite program? Diallo, Brown still realistically possible for us, but difficult. I think Ingram and Murray will go to Duke, but Kentucky is 2nd choice for both and we don't know until they announce. I have no inside info. Best guess, Calipari gets Mulder, Diallo, Maker.
