Stoops and Brad White like to play three really big guys on defense in the middle, and overall, you cannot argue with the results. But we also have suffered from a lack of pass rush pretty much for two or three years, not sure what the answer is, but expecting 330 pound guys to get sacks is unrealistic.

Our pass rush was much better with LeBlanc utilizing the same scheme. We haven't had a pass rush since Anwar Stewart became DL coach.

Yeah....but was LeBlanc really the reason for better pass rush...or was it better Sam/Jack Lbers? Which LeBlanc or Stewart have nothing to do with. In a 3-4...some of your pass rush comes from interior but vast majority has to come from edge rushers.

- 2018...38 sacks....but it was the Josh Allen show and Boogies wasn't a bad Robin to his Batman
- 2019....33 sacks...Calvin Taylor was a great story with 8.5 sacks...give LeBlanc a ton of credit. But also Boogie Watson was there with 7 sacks

LeBlanc leaves for Arkansas job

- 2020...14 sacks....we fall off the face of earth and interior DL does zilch. But we also play a 10 game slate and all SEC games. So hard to compare without 3 non conference cupcakes and UL to pad stats
- 2021...29 sacks...Paschal had 6 sacks ...Ox was a decent pass rush but he missed half of year...Weaver gets 6 sacks but Jordan Wright gets 1 sack at the Sam and the rest of sacks are safeties and Lbers here and there.
