Now that the season is officially over…

I think we can still go 8-4 with Levis, but we are VERY bad without him. We could lineup and do ground and pound, but we are not good enough to be one-dimensional like in other years. The schedule was so favorable, and we choked against Ole Miss, and played like trash tonight. I do not see us beating Tennessee or Georgia, but we can win all others. Still a good year, but could have been much better. We are now at the decent to good level, but who knows if/when we'll take the next step. Tennessee is gonna destroy Bama next week; I would not be surprised to see them in Atlanta, and/or CFP. Both Bama and Georgia are down from last year (Georgia last year would beat anyone this year). Ohio State and Tennessee appear to be the two best teams this season so far.
Miss St. is way better than everyone thought.
Can't see Rogers and Co losing to a team thzt cant appy pressure to the QB.

Beat Tenn and Loserviille and I'm happy now.
If we lose to U6, this place will blow a gasket

Of course not. Six games still on the schedule remain to be played.
Yeah! And if we win all 6, including against a top 10 team and one of the best two teams in the country, the season will amount to something. But…we won’t. You know that. So do I.

Win the east? Did you not see what Georgia did to the big 10 champion last year. As long as Kirby is at Georgia they will have the east locked down. Barring a once in a generation talent like cam newton. A little success and people think we’re bama now and should be competing for the sec every year.
Mizzou has won the east two times during their relatively short time in the SEC. Kentucky can win the east.

We better win it next year (since we won’t this season), because divisions are about to go bye bye.
It's going to be interesting to see how the SEC handles this. We could move away from divisions and into a pod system. I could see us being in a pod with Vandy, UT, and Mizzou, but with our luck we'll end up in a pod with Bama, Georgia, and Texas.

There won't be pods. And we wouldn't get in that JV pod if there were. That's a joke 4 team pod.

PODS will not be based on Geography. You can bet AL, GA, LSU, and TAM/TX will not be in the same POD. GA POD: GA, UK, TN, MO .... AL POD: AL,AUB, MS, VAN..... LSU POD: LSU, MSST, TX, OK.... TAM POD: TAM,FL,SC,AR . There you go how about that for some Balance: Gives the SEC Four Big Boys( two for the ole East & ole West) an advantage to win their POD. Takes care of most of the OLD Rival games, other Rival Games will be covered as your outside POD permanent opponent. For UK that could be Vandy, maybe SC, worse scenario is it being FL.

Rival taken care of with permanent non POD opponent: FL vs GA, TAM vs TX, Vandy vs TN, MSST vs Ole MS, did I miss anything??

We didn’t lose because of him.
I agree 100%. But .. while he did the best he could .. I don’t think he’s good enough to do well as an SEC QB. Hope I’m wrong but he looked really slow and I’d say he’s not going to get any faster.

Its just a mess right now for our football team. We just lost at home to lower tier south carolina and it was not a close win at all.

Dude if you think I’m a cal nut hugger you haven’t seen my post. I think he should be paid half of what he is and if said 5 years ago it was time to move on

and why play the game if it’s not “realistic” to win the East. What’s the damn point then?
I told you last week what you needed to do. I layed out your path to happiness. Go forth and jump on the bama bandwagon. It’s your only option. You will never enjoy Kentucky football. Stop wasting your time wearing blue. You’re not tough enough.

You're probably right, but I'm not gonna sulk off somewhere in disgust. Yeah... team is struggling mightily at the moment. The staff and team now have an opportunity to surprise everyone and show more growth as a program. I'm not counting on a big turnaround mid-season, but I'm not ruling it out. I'll watch.

Let’s be honest, this year is now a wash. Can’t win the East. Can’t get a good bowl. Might as well move on over to rafters.

thought we could make a thread about what needs to be done for next year…

1. find a transfer qb. It’s what will make or break the year. If you don’t get someone at least as good as levis then you’re screwed.

2. fire the o line coach. Don’t give a shit what you have to say. Get rid of him tonight.

3. hire someone who knows special teams. And recruit a kicker worth a piss.

4. give stoops three years to win the East and if he doesn’t tell him you’re moving on. He’s had long enough.

5. Recruit the dline better. They’re to slow and have no depth.

6. The roster falls off big time after this year. Better make some calls in the portal.

7. really consider if skankarello is worth the spot. Not looking like it.

See y’all in rafters. I’d go back and reply to some of the outrageous predictions certain posters had this year but I’ll just look forward to taking down the cheaters at Kansas on the bball court.

have fun in the misery of you want to continue watching and showing up. (Don’t be surprised if levis doesn’t come back now 🤫)
As of today projected for the Music City Bowl.
