Let’s be honest, this year is now a wash. Can’t win the East. Can’t get a good bowl. Might as well move on over to rafters.

thought we could make a thread about what needs to be done for next year…

1. find a transfer qb. It’s what will make or break the year. If you don’t get someone at least as good as levis then you’re screwed.

2. fire the o line coach. Don’t give a shit what you have to say. Get rid of him tonight.

3. hire someone who knows special teams. And recruit a kicker worth a piss.

4. give stoops three years to win the East and if he doesn’t tell him you’re moving on. He’s had long enough.

5. Recruit the dline better. They’re to slow and have no depth.

6. The roster falls off big time after this year. Better make some calls in the portal.

7. really consider if skankarello is worth the spot. Not looking like it.

If this is your expectations for Kentucky Football, win the east or else, how can you possibly feel good about going to rafters?

My God Cal has had 100 nba draft picks in 11 years, by far the best team 3 years, been the top 1-4 team another 3-5 years and has one title.

Win the east? Did you not see what Georgia did to the big 10 champion last year. As long as Kirby is at Georgia they will have the east locked down. This teams sucks and it’s easy to see why. No depth with any experience, no motivation, and awful game preparation. It’s all the fault of the coaching staff who recruit players but then play so bad they get no experience. A coaching staff that can’t motivate the players when bad things happen, and a coaching staff that the game plan was put together by someone who has no idea how to play to any strength the team might have.

I was at the game. It was electric until two seconds in, SC touchdown. Excitement lingered a bit longer until it was apparent offense couldn't keep up. I can say one thing for sure: if that QB is starting next year with as bad an O-Line, have mercy on the poor team.

I think the point is to try and win every game you can. Kentucky historically is an awful football program. In the last 5 years we have won 10 games and 4 consecutive bowl wins.

realistically we cannot compete with the alabamas and Georgia’s of the world. If you think any team that can’t beat Georgia for first in the east shouldn’t play then there wouldn’t be an sec east.

I think you are a cal nut hugger because you are happy to jump to rupp rafters like this season will be any different than last year.

I think we can still go 8-4 with Levis, but we are VERY bad without him. We could lineup and do ground and pound, but we are not good enough to be one-dimensional like in other years. The schedule was so favorable, and we choked against Ole Miss, and played like trash tonight. I do not see us beating Tennessee or Georgia, but we can win all others. Still a good year, but could have been much better. We are now at the decent to good level, but who knows if/when we'll take the next step. Tennessee is gonna destroy Bama next week; I would not be surprised to see them in Atlanta, and/or CFP. Both Bama and Georgia are down from last year (Georgia last year would beat anyone this year). Ohio State and Tennessee appear to be the two best teams this season so far.
