irish with a chance to tie the game and Kelly draws up a draw play.... for a 2 pt conversion... might of just costed notre dame a shot at the national championship. horrible play call.

Giving up 3 more turnovers than Clemson didn't help either.
Seemed like the Irish had some good chances but their receivers dropped several balls.
They should took a page out of the Tom Brady guide to ball inflation requirements for wet weather.

Notre Dame MIGHT have made the playoffs (because of their name) but in no way are they a threat to win the
National Championship.

Nope you are 100% wrong.

Maybe in the past they get in the playoffs on their name, but this ND team is for real. They are loaded on D (Jaylon Smith is a freak) and their OL is one of the best (If not the best) in the Country.

However, losing your starting RB and starting QB and a starting DL before even the end of the 2nd game puts a damper on things. Some of the injuries ND has had in the past season and a half have been insane.

I don't blame the QB draw on the 2 pt conversion for their loss as much when Kelly went for 2 pts. earlier when he had no reason to do so.

That is what cost them.

Whatever, but the fact that it cost them is all that matters.

Yeah, didn't see the game but seems like going for 2 at 24-9 was the worse decision. I actually didn't hate the QB lead play or whatever that was to try to tie the game.

What I saw was espn cutting away from the coach in the post game interview when he mentioned God. They then come back to the interview a few seconds later. It was very awkward and deliberate of them as soon as the name God come out.
