16ppg on the sixth best offense in country says he’s pretty tough to guard lol.Oweh is hardly unguardable and I know nothing about ole Eagleclaws.
🤣🤣🤣 ok budOweh is hardly unguardable
Don’t know but I’m gonna guess SG by looking at highlight reel and statsIs Wilkerson a pg?
I’m not going to pretend I’ve watched every North Dakota game to scout him, but the numbers look more like a volume shooter. He’s taking 15 shots per game with good not great percentages (36% from 3, 42% overall).I wonder if he is an "in the system" type of guy or a "volume shooter" type of guy. The latter might not work well here. Not saying I'm not interested in the kid. Anyone who can put up fifty in college is worth a look of two. Just wonder how he fits in Pope's system.
Is Wilkerson a pg?
Combo, but primarily off ballDon’t know but I’m gonna guess SG by looking at highlight reel and stats
I never judge based on raw numbers. Go on YouTube and watch full games. Then, you will understand what a player really is. I haven’t started on this kid but probably will if I think UK has interestI’m not going to pretend I’ve watched every North Dakota game to scout him, but the numbers look more like a volume shooter. Now some of that may be that he’s the only legit talent on a team that was bad enough to go 5-11 in the Summit League, but it can be a little hard to separate for an amateur like myself. Good scouting and talent evaluation is more important than ever with the portal being so vital to roster building. Fortunately for us, this season suggests that Pope and his staff know what they’re doing in that regard, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt if they want this guy.
Couple of names being I’ve heard are Dent and Dedan but I honestly have no idea who they are.I would be glad if Kentucky got him, but I think there are better options
Who is dedan? I know who dent is.Couple of names being I’ve heard are Dent and Dedan but I honestly have no idea who they are.
Donovan Dent from New Mexico ?? That would be a nice PG additionCouple of names being I’ve heard are Dent and Dedan but I honestly have no idea who they are.
Dedan Thomas from UNLV maybeWho is dedan? I know who dent is.
2 more name just popped up lol. The PG from Pepperdine just entered and the PG Jaland Lowe from Pitt may enterDedan Thomas from UNLV maybe
Portal is relentless2 more name just popped up lol. The PG from Pepperdine just entered and the PG Jaland Lowe from Pitt may enter
This is a kid that would DEFINITELY qualify as one of the "Superstars" coach Pope stated we were bringing in next season!!!!
Sounds promising….Also has same agent as Amari.
Feel like Pope and the cats will be a popular landing destination for top portal players.
Wilkerson sounds a lot like FulkersonIf you have time go watch Wilkerson. He is very good
If he could make more of his layups, he'd get up to 20 ppg!!!!16ppg on the sixth best offense in country says he’s pretty tough to guard lol.
Wilkerson is a lot better than floppy FulkersonWilkerson sounds a lot like Fulkerson
Idk
You know if Bama is interested he’s probably good.I like agbim and Wilkerson better personally. But like you said if eagles staff wanted to come here you obviously take him. I think eaglestaff goes to bama though
He is good, I just like other players better. Dent and 1 of Agbim/wilkerson/pascarelli would be my preference. And then the frontcourt pieces are TBTYou know if Bama is interested he’s probably good.
I am waiting to see which high major players enter before I make any wishes. He is good, I just like other players better. Dent and 1 of Agbim/wilkerson/pascarelli would be my preference. And then the frontcourt pieces are TBT
Probably the smartest move to makeI am waiting to see which high major players enter before I make any wishes.
Watched some of Moe Odum(Pepperdine) last night.2 more name just popped up lol. The PG from Pepperdine just entered and the PG Jaland Lowe from Pitt may enter

An example I always think about is with multiple small high schools in a single county. Many of the guys who become the “stars” on those teams would not have developed if all the schools had been consolidated because the kids who matured and developed earlier would have blocked them. But with time, when guys are given an opportunity they rise to the top. Then the 1st year of consolidation the new big high school is really good because the best players from the little schools all come together. Then after a couple of years the consolidated high school settles back down to a norm due to fewer opportunities for the late comers to develop. That’s one positive about the portal, players from small schools can play their way to the big time much easier.

One of the nations assist leaders.
Thin frame.
Typical NYC guard, poor man's Kemba Walker.
uhhh, we have upwards of 5-7 roster spots available for transfers if we want to max out or come close to maxing out our roster. And with the injuries, We should try to do that. If we have a player or two leave, that's even more openings. Eaglestaff is one you don't take a pass on.I would be glad if Kentucky got him, but I think there are better options
if we want to max out our roster, it would be 6-7 depending if everybody stays and Kerr Krissa comes back. How many portal transfers will we sign next year and what positions will need to be filled?
OK, so do we not take anybody else until that's filled? Not sure what you mean.i think he fits well with Brea's role
PG1 is more urgent need
Kentucky isn’t adding 5-7 guys in the portal. And as of right now nobody, but there will be better players than eaglestaffuhhh, we have upwards of 5-7 roster spots available for transfers if we want to max out or come close to maxing out our roster. Who are the better options in the portal right now?
I don't think NIL money will be as much of an issue either. I think enough people have seen what Pope can accomplish here and NIL contributions are only going to get better and better for us.What I'm thinking too. They'll be so many good players that choosing between players may often be a close call - and UK will be able to pick and choose to a large degree. So, the decisions for Pope and his staff are likely going to be kind of tough, and once the season ends they are going to need a lot of caffeine for 3 or 4 weeks.
Pope has said he wants a full roster, now whether that means we have 2-3 walkons, remains to be seen, I assume that will be the case, but the SEC allows for 15 scholarship players. currently we have 8 or 9 coming back (depending on Krissa) even to get to 13 that 4-5 guys right there. Now we may also take another high school kid as well, nobody knows. I trust in Pope though and IMO Eaglestaff is a take who fits this system to a tee, no matter how many you take, you make room for him to be one of them.Kentucky isn’t adding 5-7 guys in the portal. And as of right now nobody, but there will be better players than eaglestaff
It would be great if there was something like Portsmouth for guys entering the portal.Kentucky isn’t adding 5-7 guys in the portal. And as of right now nobody, but there will be better players than eaglestaff
Ew, no.UK's needs (even with Kriisa):
1. Combo Guard
2. Stretch 4
3. Combo Forward
4. A Big that doesn't mind backing up Garrison
