No more Krissa please.

I’d play Perry over him right now - Krissa shooting 25% from both 2& 3 Guarantee you Perry can do better with the minutes Krissa gets
As far as defense neither would be great
As far as bringing ball up against pressure
We got a 7’ named Magic Williams that does that
Give me Perry much better scorer
Unless this is just Kentucky-kid-bias, with respect it's just not a very good take. If you think Kerr is bad on defense, Travis is much much worse. If you think Kerr turns it over vs pressure, Travis hasn't even seen pressure like Clemson/Duke before in his life.

Here's the big issue I've noticed posters missing on: everyone wants to mention "not contributing" or his shooting %. He is playing as a point guard, not as a shooting guard. So when Butler gets a rest, or like in the Clemson game when he rolls an ankle, Kerr is literally our only other option at PG. You can argue that he isn't playing up to expectations, and Kerr would agree with you.

"Give me Perry, much better scorer" just isn't the right take, again with respect.

If these 2 dudes played in TN, wouldn't see people wanting them to play as deep as our team is.

Fans all wanted upperclassmen and experience but also want the KY freshmen kids to play. That wasn't gonna happen this year. Too much experience.

You have a point and I agree with it. I think the way you are going about it is what will cause you to get resistence. Instead of just completely giving up on a player who we absolutely have to have, we'd be better suited hoping that he improves over the season and becomes the player we need him to be. Benching him permanently isn't an option. Instead, Pope needs to coach him to play within himself and to trust the system.
If I’m giving up on the player it’s because I’ve seen the movie before and the ending doesn’t change. I watched Kriisa extensively when he played out here in the Pac 12 and when he went to WVU. It’s the same thing over and over again. Bad shot selection, bad decision making, bad defense.

I agree that UK needs a backup PG to spell Butler. I’m just willing to see what others can provide for a few minutes because I already know what I’m gonna get with Kriisa, and I don’t like it.

If Pope can turn him into something that he’s never been, a steady PG, more power to him. But based on his history, I know how it’s gonna go.

I will say this about Kriisa I wish I had that dudes confidence. It may be severely misplaced at times but dude has confidence by the ton.

Look up his stats game by game, he didn't have seven straight good games, he had a couple games with high assists against 2 of the worst teams we've played and is shooting horribly on the season so are you off your rocker.
Pretty darn good game tonight from Kriisa. Some great plays and shots when we desperately needed them. Winning plays, and a crucial defensive play (among others) in the second half. I rest my case. But, hey, don't debate me...call Mark Pope about how you don't like Kriisa and see what he says. Big loss if he's badly injured. SMH...
