Pierre to make commitment soon. Said it will be “wicked” (UK is Out)

He's just trying to elevate himself, and quickly running out of time with it.
You are probably right. But I admit, there's just something about Pierre that I really like. He seems to have that "it" factor. Yates shoots the 3 ball at a slightly higher percentage, but Pierre seems to do everything really well. He has quickness, explosiveness, athleticism and versatility. His skill set and attributes are like equal parts Brandon Knight and Derek Anderson. He's a player I'd just really love to have.

These would be nice additions, but my post was more about the person behind the player. As long as Pope has multiple fires going at all times, that will help to neuter all the posturing.

Brandon Knight was the least quick and explosive guard Cal had . He really was just an ok athlete

If you have a chance to add a guy who’s college comp is in the DWade mold…you add that guy.

Wade’s combine weight was 212. Pierre Jr is 208 (per Jax State website). Both guys are 6’5. Really Good not great shooter but an explosive athlete and pure 3 level scorer.

Setting up for a lot of disappointment is all I said when you call something lethal.

Ok- whatever, it’s the best backcourt ever
Chandler, Oweh, Johnson, Lewis, Lowe and the potential of Pierre would be one of the best in the nation next season. We know what Oweh brings to the table. I expect Chandler only gets better. Lowe brings experience to the backcourt along with Oweh. Johnson and Lewis are talented freshman. Possibly adding the nation's leading scorer would make it one of the best in the nation. That isn't a stretch.

Is Pierre similar to Oweh or is he more of a shooter? I would rather have more of a pure shooter like Wilkerson but obviously Pierre is a very good player.

Pierre is a much better shooter from beyond the arc than Oweh. Jaron 38%, averaged 2.9 made 3's per game last season. Oweh was 35.5% last year, but averaged 0.8 made 3's per game. He hit 10 3's in a game vs Middle Tennessee State and 5 vs Georgia Tech in the NIT. Here is a clip from the GT game. Couldn't find highlights vs MTSU.
