One thing I love about Ming is that he does not gag away midweek games against directional state schools (cough...henderson...cough). Nothing flashy, just win the game and move on to one of the biggest weekend series we have had in years...

Couldn't you say this could be the biggest since winning this series could probably (possibly) guarantee us a chance to host a super regional?

Sure. You're probably right. Can't think of another series in UK history that had both a national seed and an SEC title on the line.

Well... RPI remains the same. SOS dropped to 13, but I imagine that is going to get a big time boost this weekend. I am kind of excited that the first game is tomorrow rather than having to wait until Friday. haha

When we win the series at Fla I see NO WAY that this team is not deserving of a national seed.

Baseball America has us as the # 7 Nat'l seed. They have West Virginia, NC State, and Illinois-Chicago in our regional.

D1 has us as the #6 seed with Florida State, Kent State and Indiana. We paired across from Clemson.

Baseball America and College Sports madness both have Florida State in the Starkville regional. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out, my guess is probably neither projection will be accurate.
