Can anyone imagine what our athletic department would look like if we had someone who was all the way in on NIL. Not just Basketball and Football. We would be able to upgrade and expand our facilities to attract more athletes. But that won't happen with Barney there. Ditch Mitch and get a General Manager from a professional team to come in and run the joint. Looking for some feedback from Big Blue Nation. Emojis and GIFs are extremely welcomed.

Tennessee's AD is Danny White. His brother, Brian White, is the AD at FAU. He's going to be a very hot commodity soon, if not already.
We’re one of the few profitable athletic departments in the country and have state of the art facilities everywhere. LOL at the clueless ones.
On probation Tennessee who just got busted paying players cash in McDonalds bags? Maybe we could have signed the #44 and #67 recruit like Tennessee if we did NIL right. Instead we’re stuck with a bunch of ragtag little scrappers that no one wanted. LOL at these clueless clowns.

Basketball NIL at UK seems to be OK. It's much easier when there are only 10-12 players in a sport. Football is where the help is badly needed and why Stoops/staff have been so publicly vocal on the matter. Barnhart not being fully onboard with NIL is another reason.
And Tennessee getting busted means nothing. It doesn’t matter anymore, people don’t even use it as ammo against rivals anymore like we did 20 years ago. Even 10 years ago.
Getting caught cheating in sports doesn’t even really hurt you as much anymore. And penalties lol.
Why people care of athletic programs try and cheat I’ll never understand. It’s always been that you do it, but don’t get caught. And now, it’s not even that anymore. Do it and get caught, it’s fine.

One area where Barnhart frustrates me the most is conservative approach by nature. In the ever changing world of college athletics, he's very cautious to make quick changes. He readily admitted with NIL that coaches were frustrated that UK didn't move quicker in the NIL front. That will never change with him in charge. UK has made great strides in promoting the collectives and providing more information about NIL since Mitch's initial cautious start.
As for the next AD, no idea what direction they will go, but if we ever hired a former athlete, I'd look at Tayshaun Prince.

Football signed the two best classes in program history the two years NIL. Help is badly needed tho. The most talented team on paper in history is basically falling apart. LOL at these clueless simpletons.

Our AD doesn’t fully support NIL and you put one vauge article that says he lets players do the bare minimum when it comes to NIL. Kentucky hasn’t embraced NIL fully yet like they should, and it took pushing from a radio show to get a collective set up for football. And do you honestly think what Tennessee did hasn’t been going in college sports forever. I will still a phrase from you you fricking clownshow. Arguably the greatest class in college basketball history, but we don’t support NIL. The two greatest classes in UK football history the 2 years of NIL, but we don’t support NIL and are “behind”. The football team has more 4 and 5 star recruits on its roster since ranking recruits was a thing but we’re falling apart due to NIL.

I mean look at some of the schools ever since the NIL and transfer portal became a thing. Outside the year they had Leonard, when has SDSU even sniffed an elite eight. Miami has had good teams since Jim has been there, but never this good. I will be honest, no disrespect intended, but I didn't even know Florida Atlantic had a basketball team. All these schools are located in cities and areas where there are alot of businesses to offer NIL deals. Just saying.

Teamed with Nike and Fanatics so players get a cut of replica jersey sales. Just to start.
