Negatives from tonight's game; I'll go first

Things that stood out to me in the negative column and they aren't that bad:

Less Garrison, more Almonor (pair him with Carr when Williams is on the bench).

Williams better shoot 500 FTs per day. Yuck.

Kriisa's shot looked awful. He's what everyone says he is - streaky. There will be a game where he goes off, and others where he shoots 2/10 and 0/5 from outside.

Robinson disappeared completely. How did he end the game with 8? (That's a rhetorical question, by the way.) Seems like he could have scored more simply by accident. Not sure he took a shot in the 2H. Felt that way at least. Perhaps Oweh will be the "go get a bucket" guy for UK when everyone expected it to be Robinson, who knows ...

Robinson took one shot, a long two, in the second half. It appeared we were running stuff on the opposite side of the floor hoping to get him open in the corner, but they never left him much on defense. Really screwed my parlay lol

In know this might be a crazy thought about Robinson…
could it be that Coach told him to back off scoring? He knows, as do we all, that Robison will be the guy other teams focus on and he needs the rest of the team to be able to make the plays as well. It seemed to me we were focusing on inside play more, deliberately, especially when the end of the bench came in. Robinson was out there but I kinda feel as more of a stabilizer to the rest of the team
There was a lot of real time teaching going on.
I know it’s probably a very naive take…but I can see it. The more guys we have comfortable doing ALL the things the more dangerous we are. It’ll make it much more difficult for opponents.

Pope had a 41 point blowout for game 1 (#41 Pope).

They’re on a mission from God….

Wright was running 2 guys at him on every screen. We didn’t need him forcing shots. He’s a smooth player. Got a couple nice rebounds. He’s a pro

I think you’re right. Pope knows firsthand what Jaxson can do, game was a blowout, why not work on other Things and get guys more comfortable? Totally blew my over 16.5 points though…

Yeah maybe not even so much the coach telling him to back off but rather I think it's just natural tendency when you are up by that much to loosen up a bit.

Maybe he was just letting everyone else get there's.

Doesn't really change my mind one way or the other about him being a "go to" option.
