Nobody hates Tennessee more than me. I’ll say this, Tony Vitello is one hell of a baseball coach. I’m watching UT vs GT right now and Vitello is dialed in on every UT game I’ve watched. This guy can run rings around Mingione in his sleep. I know most here don’t like him but I’d take him in a heartbeat.
Don't like him but that team takes after him in toughness and competitiveness and that's a huge part of their success.

Our history is about as bad as it gets for a P5 program.
UK baseball has replaced UK football as the "Don't give a shit" program by the UK sports admins.
U6 has jumped all over Mich...7-2 3rd inning. Looks like another super. Wonder if they'll host? The end to their season and acc tournament didn't end well, but here they are.

They will not host a super regional. If they win today, they play Texas A&M in the Super Regionals and TAMU will host. TAMU was the 5 seed nationally and Louisville the 12.
Auburn has 9 runs in the 6th. They are raking right now. Auburn's issue was that they were hitting extremely well, but not scoring a lot of runs. They have cured that not scoring issue.
Yeah, that's true. For most of those years there was one pot of money and BB skimmed theirs off the top, everybody else had to divide up what was left. Now, thanks to TV/SECN etc, there's much more money for everybody and the old excuses don't figure any longer. MB has the stadium, now make the right hire and get this baseball thing fixed. I'm tired of being embarrassed by programs UK should at least be on par with if not well ahead of.

Watched a lot yesterday, this is more fun to me than the NCAA basketball tournament. A lot of good games. Pulling for East Carolina and Notre Dame. I'd also like to see Southern Miiss and UConn win. I guess I'm for the little guys in other words.
The offense has certainly been the story. Great games, high energy in the stadiums and a lot of home runs.
Gilbert is super talented but his attitude is total garbage. You would have to think it could hurt him some in the draft.
Love seeing UL lose to A&M and UT to lose at home. If UL and UT both lose in the SR, then I can just enjoy a stress-free Omaha.
You see the stat that Schloss is one of 5 coaches to make the CWS in their first season. Gary Henderson is one, did it at State in 18.

Really glad to see A&M close out UL. Arky, Ole Miss, and Aubie look very good for the SEC. Really hope Notre Dame can beat UT in the rubber match today, but don't have a lot of hope that this happens.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen five SEC teams in CWS. Most I remember is four teams a couple times at least. Many times it’s SEC on SEC in the Supers.
That should be an embarrassing stat but I don’t know that many in the athletic offices see it that way.
A change should be made, it won’t be.
The SEC is only going to get a LOT better in the next couple years. I fear that we are dooming this program by not having a new staff in place before OU and Texas enter the league.
