NBA game 3

Absolutely. As long as it's allowed both ways, I'm fine though. Give every guy an extra half step or a little push off or grab here and there. They're too good to muck the game up with whistles.

exactly....its about having a product worth watching. no one cares about a little walk here or there....it all washes out. this purist stuff is nonsense.

I'm not even a big NBA fan, but I don't know how you can watch this and not see it's a far superior product to the college game.

You couldn't shoot like Steph Curry on a video game with your attributes boosted to 99. There have been great, great shooters but there is no one like that in the history of the game.

You have the cream of the crop talent that came from the college game, AND overseas. And more freedom of movement. Of course it's gonna be. But I still only look during the playoffs. I have to have a rooting interest to follow something closely. I still enjoy college ball more because of that.

If we all loved an NBA franchise the way we love the Cats, folks here wouldn't be able to contain their passion for this level of play.

Do those free throws count as clutch? Is another 40-point near triple double with a decimated supporting cast great or just joining up with other superstars to piggy back a ring?

This series could have been 3-0 Cleveland. LeBron has been the GOAT in this series, but even he has to wear down eventually. I would love to see them pull it out in 5 games because the story of him coming back and winning it all the first year after losing two of his best players would be awesome.

Lebron is averaging 41 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block per game this series.

How is that even possible?

Plus Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are probably the best pair of perimeter defenders in the NBA. The Warriors know he's making the entire team go, they're loading up on him, and it just doesn't matter. And it's not like he's just hitting everything he throws up or something either.

I just don't know that the Cavs can keep this up. I'd still bet on the Warriors to win the series. They're so much more talented and the games have all been close.

This series should be 3-0 righit now. The Cleveland Cavs best game was their 1st game at Golden State and should have won that game. If it wasn't for the comeback that night in the 1st game we would be sitting at 3-0 and a chance for Cleveland to sweep and win 1st championship for Cleveland sports since 1964 over 50 years ago. I have been impressed with Cleveland in these last 3 series vs. Bulls, the Hawks, and now the best NBA team this year Warriors. Also, Cleveland after losing that heartbreaking game in the 1st game of series and also losing Kyrie Irving in OT that game could have easily folded and be down right now. I say if the Cavs can win Game 4 and go back to Golden State up 3-1 how bad the Warriors are shooting outside in 1st 3 games they will win it in Game 5 or back in Cleveland in Game 6. I see passion and determination in the eyes of lebron james right now and wanting to prove the experts like Skip Bayless wrong that he and the Cavs would not win this without Irving and Love. Lebron James is out to prove some experts wrong on his move back to Cleveland, Ohio and to bring a Championship Team to Cleveland. Lebron's line through 3 games is 41 points, 12 rbs, and 8 assists per game in Finals. That is Jordan like numbers.

If the Cavs are healthy, no lol. Right now, the most experienced guy there, who is also the best basketball player there by a fairly wide margin, is taking the reins. Until Golden State starts giving more effort than Cleveland, I don't expect them to win again, which is odd given how good they are.

Yeah.. I wouldnt bet on GSW at this point. Not now, with Delly having his coming out party. He's got confidence now and he's playing 110‰, doing all the grunt work like a MKG. Most importantly, he's taken curry out of the game twice..

The only thing you could possibly complain about is LeBron's shot selection. You can't help but wonder what he's thinking sometimes, but he's having to play out of his comfort zone.

I am not sure who delladova is ( isn't that a female college bball player) but dellavedova is a beast right now .lol
If they want it spelled right then they need to keep it simple lol. No one mis spells JR Smith, Dwight Howard or LeBron James' last name. This is Amurica'....keep it Amurican with the last names. :)

Fair assessment but he almost has to force shots sometimes. I would rather have him forcing a shot than to give it to shumpert/thompson etc. with the shot clock running down. He admitted that he doesn't like shooting this much, but I believe, for the most part, he is taking good, albeit, contested shots. Usually always going towards the hoop drawing 2 or 3 defenders to come help which then opens up the weakside for offensive rebound opportunities for Mozgov or Thompson.

I can't get enough of Dellavedova and the all out hustle he is giving. Diving on the floor for every single loose ball and coming up with almost all of them. You can't teach that. He is giving 150% effort. You know what they say, hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Every team needs a player like that who really just doesn't give a sh*t and just goes all out on the defensive end and hustles for loose balls every single possession and wins those 50/50 balls. He is MKG without the MKG God given talent/athleticism. If you don't like Dellavedova and how he plays, well I don't know what to tell you.

Green 110% deserved that. I was thinking last night that for his antics, some teams should send a bench player to just drill him. Send a message.

Granted, that's one of the dozens of reason I would never make a good NBA anything...

I think the biggest negative for GS right now is that Harrison Barnes is playing like a ghost.

During the season, he was the top three point shooter in the league from the right corner, shooting 57%. He has been pretty terrible.

In a series where every man for Cleveland is stepping up with effort, you can't afford to have a guy as talented as Barnes more or less watching.

This series could legitimately be 3-0 on either side. Last night was the most one-sided game, and yet GS was only down 1 with a couple minutes left. Must watch tv! Been one of the more entertaining finals in recent years IMO. Has the feeling of a series that could go 7, and what a game that would be. As a neutral viewer, I can only hope to see a 7th game!

These games are painful to watch. The lack of any rules is so different from the college game. Lebron walked 4 times in the quarter and never got called for a one. The second worst thing about the nba is the announcers. They are paid to make up the dumbest things to explain calls.

You are correct with what you said, but I'd prefer that over the way college basketball lacks rules. At least certain NBA teams can't blatantly cheat over and over again and get lightly slapped on the wrist while other schools get the death penalty for far less serious infractions.

Not even the biggest of the Lebron haters can say anything if he pushes Cleveland to a title. Just unbelievable, thought they were DONE when Irving went out. Great Finals so far, every game down to the wire.

To be fair, he did slide tackle the f&%k out of Curry on that last play. That was pretty blatant.

I love Van Gundy as much as I love Bilas and Barkley. They all have the ability to call out BS and say what's really going on. Plus they all crack me up, seem like good dudes who I'd want to have a beer with.

But JVG is clearly rooting for the Cavs. And as someone who is also rooting for the Cav's, that's pretty bad if I can see it. It has to be pretty annoying to listen to if you're a GSW fan/rooting against Cleveland. Anything JVG says from here on out should be taken with at least a little grain of salt.
