ND has a really good team...OSU just doing what their talent would suggest.

I think they are the weakest opponent OSU faced all playoff. That's not a diss as I think Texas, Oregon and even UT have more overall talent than ND. Osu killed 2 of those 3 and won by 14 against Texas (albeit n a game closer than the final score).

Osu bought a title and that's hows it gonna be going forward n this era. All the top teams buying title chances. We need to do the same n basketball and I think we will.

ND defense looks out of place half of the time. Agree with above poster saying Ohio State is making it look easy. Most of their receivers are wide open.

ND QB Leonard holds on to the ball too long. ND is going to half to run some short and outs to at least give their QB a breather.

We think we had a pretty solid receiving corps last year, but none of them would see the field for OSU. They've got at least three who will play well in the NFL. And Smith is a GD freshman! He's a first rounder after next year and will be damn good in the NFL.

Notre Dame can use its pedigree to beat almost anyone. But every year there's going to be 1-2 teams that have the majority of the 5*s and high round draft picks.. and that's when it's just too big of an uphill battle for a team like Notre Dame (or anyone other team in FBS, really).

I'm not sure what anyone expected. We knew osu was the vastly superior team. The Domers making it a 1 score game in the 4th was somewhat dramatic but didn't feel like osu was ever n any real danger.

Most of the national title games of late have been duds. Michigan easily winning last year, Georgia by 58 2 years ago, the Georgia vs bama game was solid but uga won by 15 n the end, and then alabama crushing osu by 28. Last 5 haven't been very entertaining.
