Name of the ref that called that technical?

Calling something like that is like a guy calling a lane violation in a pick-up game.

Every year, basketball gets worse and worse because of officiating. I'd rather never hear your freaking whistle than to have crap like this called.

The SEC has shown it does not to not give a flying fuch about basketball. Unbelievable.
I've said it over and over for two straight years, the SEC is a complete failure regarding basketball.

you think it's ok for a player to not have enough self control to avoid breaking the rules? Sucks, but he screwed up. Such is life. Maybe we should have rebounded and never been in overtime in the first place!

And what exactly did this play hurt? Was he taunting someone? Did he throw it at someone? Did he curse an official? WHO DID THIS HURT?

Pure egomaniacs in stripes. Same old story every time with basketball officials.

That same call was made earlier in week in a big game. It is a tough call, Hump knew he did wrong, his facial expressions said it all. Bottom line, another offensive rebound for the put back, Skal never tried to block out.
I love what we brought to the game, tough environment, and if one thing is clear, Hump over Skal rest of the year, no if and or buts.

Exactly.

That call is a microcosm for everything that is wrong with college basketball. Fitting that it would be called by one of the biggest retards in the officiating profession.

This is the second time UK has been teed up for spiking the ball this season. They did it in the Kansas game. It was a brain cramp on UK, not the officials fault.. You can't spike the g-damn ball. When are they going to learn?

Sure it does, dude. Every single loss hurts seeding unless you are a # 1 seed.

UK is a 3/4 and will remain a 3/4.The 1 seed stuff wasn't going to happen and the 2 seed was unlikely with the top-heavy schedule remaining. So UK isn't hurt by today's loss in terms of losing their position as a 3/4.

UK is still in play for a 3, and that's probably the ceiling at this point.

An 18 year old making the biggest defensive stand in his playing career momentarily lost focus.

Why are you treating the situation as if it's anything more than that?

The name is Pat Adams...alias POS. He goes out of his way to make sure we don't win.

Cal putting Skal in cost us the game. Missed a FT and didn't box out. Game, set, match.

He is actually a decent foul shooter. TAM was going to pick whoever came in because they were cold. Who do you suggest that Cal should have put in, instead? I was surprised that they didn't pick Briscoe. Cold, In that situation, making one of the two was not bad.

An egomaniac ref that wants to make sure his presence is felt and "heard" instead of a group of players and coaches dictating the game.

Seriously, the day we get drones for officials, will be the best day for this sport. Incompetence and egos are the downfall of this sport. No other sport struggles with bad officiating like basketball does. No other sport's outcome is as easily dictated by bad officiating like basketball is.

SMH. No way should that have cost us the win.

The good news is Humphries had his coming out party. Pragmatically, UK moved one step closer to their ultimate goal of making it make to a Final Four because it looks like the young man, along with Poythress, will give UK an added benefit of physicality in March.

Sucks to lose on a retarded call, but UK is trending in the right direction and they showed grit today.

The tech was bad, but we actually lost because Skal didn't block out. We shouldn't have lost like that. Makes me sick.

I know Cal did not have a choice putting Skal in there at the end. Doesn't excuse the fact that he absolutely refuses to rebound. So frustrated with Skal and I have not been one to criticize this year. If Hump doesn't play all of Skal's minutes from here out we are gonna struggle. Esp with Poy being questionable here on out. So sick of watching Skal at half speed refusing to put effort into anything but jump shots.

The one that made the right call.

It's automatic. It's like trying to call a timeout when you don't have one. There's no judgement. Just call it.

Call it when he's woofing at an opponent and slams the ball down, call it when he mad he just fouled out and slams the ball down in disgust, call it anytime a player gets out of line but dont call it when a team has come down the floor trailing by one point, gets a shot off and a guy busting his ass, pulls down his 12th rebound of the game and is so excited to be finally contributing something to his team. If you think that was the right call, do me a favor, get you some dollar bills, buy you a red shirt and head on down to the river. Asshat
