Good Counsel (Md.) offensive tackle Naasir Watkins told me, following his official to UK, that he was approaching a decision. The trip to UK went well but Watkins also said he still had a planned official visit to Temple (Dec 10). The news today is that Temple head coach Matt Rhule will be named the new head coach at Baylor. I've reached out to Watkins to find out whether he still plans to visit Temple. It would seem much less likely that Temple would be a threat to UK, assuming UK still wants him badly, but I suppose it's possible that Rhule could target Watkins now that he's going to Baylor. My best guess is this pushes Watkins much more towards UK and if they want him they get him. Is interesting that Dolcine and Hillery are both visiting this weekend, though. UK could have some leverage to force a decision soon if they want.
