No doubt that’s the case.
I’ve nothing to cheat for. My season ended when I took KS’ 4% chance at the playoffs and flushed it down the toilet.
For maybe the first time in my life, I'm glad its Monday and I'm back at work. Had my nephew (his gf), my brother (his wife) and mom visit this past weekend. I enjoyed hanging out with my nephew & his gf. The rest was a complete shit show. Brother stayed smashed all weekend which turned him into an annoying a-hole. Pretty much got on everyone's nerves.
Cats lost, which I kinda predicted. I told my brother they would lose by at least 8.
Opened Christmas presents. My brother has a crush on Matt Jones, so he got me a KSR hoodie. Wtf? At least it fit though, unlike the clothes that my mom got me.
Fantasy football teams in two leagues stunk it up. Probably cost me the championship.
Am I a bad fan for wanting to see how poorly the season goes? I'm at the point that that is the only entertainment value left in watching the basketball team. I want to see Cal complain about getting the 8 seed in the east or something. Or maybe going to the NIT or CBI or the Wasabi Fenway Bowl.

I’m with you, 93. I mean I never want UK to lose, so I’m not onboard with that part, but I get zero enjoyment out of watching the Cats. Zero.
If I happen to be near a TV then I watch them. But more & more I find myself doing something else instead...sometimes I wind up forgetting that they even have a game. Full disclosure...I missed the Michigan game. High profile game against a good opponent on a Sunday & I completely forgot they even had a game...and it didn’t bother me one bit that I missed it. That’s sad.
This team is talented but their basketball IQ is equal to that of a mediocre MS team (that includes the coaching). The half court offense is atrocious. They have poor shot selection & they can’t shoot with any kind of consistency.
Don’t get me started on the pitiful AAU-esque man-to-man no-defense that we play. Cal still can’t teach how to defend on the ball screens. Blows my mind. Give me one week with guys with that kind of athletic abilities and I’ll have them defending it with a very high rate of success. He should be teaching that day 1 week 1 because...oh I don’t know...maybe because...EVERY FREAKING TEAM ON THE PLANET USES BALL SCREENS IN THEIR OFFENSE YOU DUMB SOB!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cats aren’t NIT bad...but they will flame out of the NCAA tourney much earlier than they should. Any opponent with decent talent, that can shoot a basketball, and has a halfway decent understanding of how to play the game will knock them out relatively easily.

I'm not on the fire cal train yet. I am of the opinion he has to do something different. Pre 2017 Cal was great. What happened and why? I want that cal back. You bring that cal back and we are fine. I just hope he can find that cal. But like you all said I still watch most of the games but I don't get the joy I once did.
I forgot about the Michigan game too. Turned on the tv to watch some NFL, saw the game on. Fell asleep at halftime.
That’s what I was doing...watching NFL games. Glad the Cats won but it didn’t bother me that I missed it.
Did 2015 just break us to the point that we are now? I mean that is a large chunk of it for me. I invested a lot of energy into that team and that loss was just crushing. Then the constant turnover, cal-speak, and now the inability to score. I still think cal can be the right fit. He's just gotta be willing to do the changes. Will his ego allow it?
I have slowly lost interest over the last three to four seasons. Just doesn't matter that much to me anymore. It's no longer enjoyable to watch. Overall just a bland / bad product on the court. I am ready for a new coach.

Football game was what I always expected playing Iowa. They usually have a solid defense that is able to capitalize on mistakes by the opposing offense.
Haven’t watched the bball game. I’m tired of Cal’s bs.

I kind of enjoy The Big Bang Theory television program. I’ve even laughed a couple of times. The laugh track is awful but the humor isn’t bad.
