Willis
Humphries
Lee

This gives us four skilled offensive players and size. I realize defensive matchups could be a problem but you have Skal and Poy off the bench. Briscoe can spell Ulis and Hawkins can as well.

We scratch the easily defendable dribble drive and go to a more traditional post / drive and kick offense / pick and roll. Tyler and Murray can drive and kick as there are now four shooters. While not thrilled about the athleticism of this squad, at least they have size and skill.

Im afraid its too late to see much of Hump from here on out.

He is obviously not doing something right in practice because he rides the pine constantly.

I think at this point you can pretty much narrow UK down to an 8 man rotation:

Ulis
Murray
Briscoe
Willis
Poythress
Lee
Hawkins
Skal

Respectfully disagree with your lineup.

I would go with:

Ulis
Murray
Briscoe
Willis (until Poy starts playing up to his potential)
Lee

Briscoe works his butt off and deserves to play.

Humphries is not ready yet.

Just my opinion.

It's really only 7. Skal is a liability in every way. He should never be on the floor at this point.

I'd start Ulis, Murray, Briscoe, Poythress and Willis. With Lee, Poy and Willis revolving unless someone is on. If Willis goes back to his bad habits we're stuck with starting Poy and Lee.

Ulis, Murray, Skal, Lee, and Poythress, with Briscoe and Willis coming off the bench. I would put Skal at forward, and Lee at center. If were going to compete in the SEC Tournament, Skal has to "come on" as a player, and he can't do it setting on the bench.
When he is playing with his back to the basket, he is just a spectator. He doesn't know how to set a good screen, do a "Pick and Roll" or post up with his man on his hip and call for the ball.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

I would play 4 guards with 1 big for much of the game.

Ulis, Briscoe, Murray, Hawkins, Mulder, Matthews, and Willis all rotate. I include willis as a guard becuase he would matchup with a big on d but will play on the perimeter on o. That's 7 people for 4 spots and honestly only 5 will get the majority of the minutes.

Then have Lee, Poythress, and Skal play the 5 and rotate them and whoever has the hot hand that game gets to play the majority of the minutes.

This would weaken the defense inside, but it's not that good to begin with and too often UK has 2 or more players on the court who can't score without help, this would in theory fix that problem. Besides Matthews, every other guard has shown the ability to score.

Seriously I would like to see
Ulis
Murray
Hawkins
Willis
Anyone of our incapable bigs

On the floor together a whole lot more often

This would spread the floor and hopefully give more room to drive and to run screens and pick n rolls
