Favorite flavors of donuts (if you spell it doughnuts, you're a serial killer).

1. Warm glazed (specifically Spalding's)
2. Blueberry cake
3. Raspberry filled
4. Chocolate iced

What say you?

Speaking in terms of North Lime Donuts

1.) black raspberry chocolate chip
2.) cookies and cream
3.) funfetti
4.) cookie dough
North Lime used to be my go to for local donuts but Spalding's and Frank's are better in my opinion. I wouldn't say no to just about any donuts but also, not my first choice. Their cinnamon sugar and chocolate stout are great though.

My Granny's donuts..... long johns were the best. She worked in a little bitty shop down the main street of Mt. Washington, KY. Im talking little, Like 800 sq. ft. Right across the street from a place called "Crazy Reds". Its been gone for years but I havent had better donuts since I was a kid.

Umm y’all need to go to Franks Donuts. It’s FIRE!!!!! And not rich like Krispy Kreme. The place in Versailles is too sweet for me

I live close to Bill’s Dounts in Centerville, Oh.

Consistently ranked in the top ten in the country and they back it up.

Butter twist
Sour cream
Persian
Red velvet
Chocolate covered Bavarian

Donut Hole in Destin/Santa Rosa Beach are righteous, too.

Chocolate cake locally. Red’s Donuts in Paducah are still fried to make sure your grease level rises! Having said that, Portland, OR, has a couple of shops with long lines on the sidewalk outside, well worth the wait.

Lexington has some great donut spots. I haven’t heard of franks but will give it a go next time in town. This is a banana and biscoff from stans donuts. Have been craving it in quarantine.

Not many real independent bakeries around like when I was growing up. There was one called Bruggensmith's in Louisville not far from where we lived. They had the best donuts and breakfast pastries. One thing in particular they had was called Chocolate Alligator. It was a pastry with chocolate chips and chocolate drizzled across the top. It was absolutely OUTSTANDING. There's a place or two here in town that tried to replicate it, but they can't touch the original.

I know I'm supposed to say Red's being from Paducah but I just can't. Way too greasy. They'll do in a pinch but I'm only going over there for Taco John's or Just Hamburgers.

Blueberry cake (iced preferably)
Krispy Kreme birthday
KK Glazed
Banana Cream pie

honorable mention: key lime
