I hope he's doing well, and I think he always gave a good effort, but Cedric Jenkins holds a distinction of sorts in my mind- worst McDonald's All-American that UK ever signed. UK has had a ton of burger boys, and UK has had plenty of burger boys who didn't pan out (especially among the guys that Joe B recruited), but Jenkins was the one where you watched him play and thought "wait a sec- how was this guy EVER rated that highly?"
And maybe a precursor to Skal, in that he was very tall, but didn't seem to have great athletic ability, and was so skinny that guys seemed to push him 5 feet out of the way just by leaning on him (though Skal still clearly has way more ability than Jenkins had).
Jenkins did have one great moment- the tip-in for the win against UL in Dec of 87.
who was the guy (ky kid) that stole the electric shaver from Dillard's and Sutton gave him the boot?
Next game after that In Rupp someone was shooting free throws and it was super quiet and someone yelled "put in Todd, he can steal the ball" ; a huge laugh from the arena followed.
