Monk and Fox are top 10; Adebayo safely in the first round.

Bam is gone. Come on Bamba.

The only player I've seen at UK, since Cal has been here, that turned down first round money to come back was PPat. That guy was special.

Yeah Jones and Lamb came back (I don't think Lamb was projected first round) but they came back almost exclusively due to the lockout. No lockout, Jones at the very least would've been gone.

Bam has a good touch, but he wasn't a good shooter. Only 65% from the line and for a guy who gets as many lobs and dunks, only 59% from the field. He did not consistently hit the medium-range jumper this year. However, he's got that ability in a few years to be consistent with it.

Yep. Clears the way for Bamba.

ideally...hump will leave, clear the way for bamba and richards to play the five. then bam would know he would start at the PF spot with bamba at the 5 and would let him play on the perimeter a bit

I think Bam is gone and 2 of Hump,SKJ and Gabriel. We add Johnson, Bamba and one other,we start the season with Forrest Gump's box of chocolates(really not knowing what we have at all)

Cal will make something out of them, but he better have one of his better coaching jobs still in his hat so he can pull it out.

Fox at No. 4 and Monk at 6, Bam in 20's. Wouldn't be surprised to see them all go higher after working out for teams. These are the kind of kids you want to build around. Good kids, great work ethic, smart.

Also love seeing Fox projected to go before Tatum - another Duke guy who along with Giles was thought to be in running for No. 1 pick. Giles is one I think could either rise considerably or drop like a rock based on his workouts.

Surprised Swanigan is so low.

Really can't see Giles above Bam and I think they are missing the boat on Swanigan

I am surprised that Giles is that high also. Someone is taking a big risk on him with bad knees. Swanigan will be a great pro player. If I was a GM I would take him above Giles.

I wouldn't take Giles at all. Great amount of talent, but his next knee issue might be his last.

Keep in mind these are just projections right now. I think they are splitting the difference with Giles. If teams bring him in and he works out poorly, or team doctors check him out and there are concerns, wouldn't be surprised to see him fall out of the first round. Surprised he went ahead and signed with an agent.

It all depends on feedback with Bam. He didn't hire an agent for a reason. You never know whether participating in workouts will cause one to climb the board or fall. I'd day it's 70-30 he goes.

I think he wasn't willing to risk staying there another year,I doubt Duke was what he thought it would be.His situation was so unique that college anywhere was probably a mistake

That article is confusing as to when it was judging these players in the draft. It has yesterday's date on it but when talking about Monk they make the remark that he will get more chances to shine in the tournament. Huh?

I believe the Sixers are going to take Monk unless they win the lottery. They desperately need shooters. They had Fultz at their game Tuesday so I guess they will take him if they get the #1 pick. They also get the Lakers pick if the Lakers fall outside the top 3. Not out of the realm of possibility they take both Monk and Fox if they are available. They are looking at Tatum and Jackson too.

Giles will have a Greg Oden type of career. He will never be the same again and it is sad really. Bam will be in the lottery discussion once he works out for teams.

WCS, AP say hello, and TJ says, you don't know me...

WCS is fair. Don't remember AP being a promised 1st rounder, but his freshman season would have been the only time, and again, would be fair. Already mentioned Jones, there was a lockout.
