Notes are going to be light today. Not a ton going on (especially with 2016) and things are still developing with 2017. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and I want to thank you all for reading every week.

Bolden/Allen: No UK home game this weekend, I was swamped with weddings, too, so I haven't heard anything new with these two and that's probably because there's nothing new to begin with and maybe won't be for a few weeks. I still think UK is in a solid position with Bolden and the more UK gets killed on the boards this year the more Calipari will put an emphasis on making sure it never happens again.
I'll post more when I hear more but as for now consider UK in a very solid position with Bolden, and still being considered with Allen.
Maker: If he ever plays college basketball he's going to be really good. Saw him against Gabriel but he also had another huge weekend going up against Udoka Azubuike. Maker continues to get stronger and think he's going to turn into the NBA star everyone though he would.
He won't be going to UK, and my guess would be Arizona State leads. If he plays college basketball and does play at Arizona State, he'll square off against the Cats next year in the Bahamas.
Jordan Tucker: Tony Barbee watched the four-star wing player on Friday before the Cats played Ohio State on Saturday. I don't know too much about Tucker, but I know he's a wing player that would be a true three for the Cats. I'd consider him a backup plan as of now, but it's still so early in 2017 you never know and he does have some major offers. UK didn't offer but hope to talk to Tucker soon.
Bamba: I wish I had more answers for you here but Bamba's recruitment continues to blow up and teams are going to see him left and right but as far as I know UK hasn't stopped by. I don't know why that's the case as Bamba is one of my favorite players in 2017, but Calipari generally knows what he's doing. I imagine they'll be by sooner than later.
Washington: P.J. Washington is still considering the Cats and I think would be a solid option for Kentucky. He's a guy that I've talked about a lot but not so much recently. UK is still interested.
Petty: Really think he's becoming a can't miss type recruit for 2017. Just does so many different things and never takes a game off. There's a reason why he's one of UK's top priorities in 2017.
