Opening day is Thursday so I figured I’d get all of y’all’s thoughts on your teams.
Braves are obviously loaded. Have a futures bet to win the World Series. Probably the best starting 5 pitching staff in baseball and arguably the best 1-6 lineup in baseball too. Anything short of a World Series is a disappointment in my eyes.
I know a bunch of y’all are Reds and Cardinals fans. Curious if y’all are more worried about winning or seeing how y’all’s young studs do. I know the Cardinals have Walker at 3rd base. Refs have Stephenson and the pitchers. Is de la Cruz gonna be y’all’s opening day shortstop?
Speaking of shortstop, it’s in a golden age for talent and they are y’all young too. Trea Tuner, Wander Franco, Bobby Witt Jr, Lindor, Bogaerts etc. Not to mention de la Cruz and Gunnar Henderson are two of the top 3-5 prospects in baseball at the position.
