Sorry, but many in this fanbase are a bunch of babies. You did not get what you wanted so you are staying home this time? Really? I bet many of you are the younger bunch who does not remember when KY used to get murdered by UF on a yearly basis. So KY lost, yeah it sucks but KY is at least now competing with UF. I have been to many KY a$$ beating by UF, but I enjoyed the game, the stadium, music, atmosphere, etc and was excited when it came down to the last drive. Your not going to win at everything in life and most certainly not every football game. So when KY loses a basketball game are you going to stay home next time? Highly doubt it.
This is a big time game KY needs to win and the fans need to show up. Yes, there are things the team needs to do to get better but if you want a legit SEC program then start acting like a legit SEC football fanbase and show up to a critical SEC game on the schedule. Most would have taken a 3-1 start to begin with. This season is far from over but so many people act like its over now. Crazy...
Couldn't have said it any better. This is SEC football, which is as good as it gets on the collegiate level. The tailgating, the players (many of which will play in the NFL), if that excitement doesn't interest you, then don't go to the game. Coach Stoops is right there of putting a product on the field that can beat anybody on a given night. I've been to too many games over the years when I knew I was walking into a game in which we were going to get mauled. I love college football and I love that I have had the opportunity to watch in person, many of the stars of the NFL over the years. As far as the concessions, I eat before the game, I bring in a bottled water and I don't ever visit the concession stand, so that is not an issue with me. One last note, the crowd Saturday was awesome, but Kentucky is playing two or three worst traveling fans in the conference in Mizzou and Florida. It always helps the attendance numbers when the visiting team helps sell some of those tickets. I hope everyone comes Saturday night to enjoy a SEC football and a chance for our Wildcats to improve to 3-1.
