Missouri Tickets - Too Many Left...

Let me know when we get to 8 wins, then I'll show up.

I can't be wasting my time, money, and effort on going to watch a 5-7 team.

I am very disappointed in the offense, play calling and some bad calls by the refs. But this statement is just plain dumb. I created an account just to respond to this post and say when UK football does make it to 8 wins I hope you don't show up. I have been a season ticket holder for the last 8 years. I am a fan of the team regardless of the record. Sure I get upset, but a true fan will always support the team.

Please just stay home so everyone else can enjoy the game.

You're just one of the many entitled fans that I'm talking about. For what you pay for a ticket I think you are accommodated enough. Poor you for having to wait for your nachos.
No...you are just one of the moaners and complainers that expect everyone to behave as you. Since you have such a Holier than thou attitude; I assume you have season tickets and contribute to all areas of the University of Kentucky.

I've been doing this for a long time, missed one home game in the last 10 years. Left Saturday night with no voice and will leave this Saturday with no voice. With that said, I'll be very surprised if it sells out. Just from past experience, I know how this fan base reacts after a loss like that. Hope I'm wrong though.

[laughing] at the thought of an "entitled" UK football fan. We should be so lucky.

And if you don't think a bad gameday experience will keep a lot of people at home, you need to learn 2015. I'll be there, of course, just as I have been at most games for the past 20 years, because I like to get kicked in the nuts over and over again.

"Entitled." Good lord.

Well I ain't coming back. They changed my parking pass from blue lot to the Arb. Hell I ain't young no more and can't walk 2 F__king miles. And the play calling sux. Run 3 plays up the middle gain 2 yards and punt or get sacked on 3rd down

Waaaaaa! You all don't want to go we don't need you. I'd rather have 50,000 cheering fans than 50000 cheering fans and 10000 wet blankets.

Concession and traffic debacle haha are people there to watch football or eat hot dogs? If you're worried about sitting in traffic after the game then stay home. If you're worried about concessions then stay home. You think Bama fans give a ish about these things?

I'm pretty sure he's saying just that - people who care about those things will stay home because they were a debacle...

We lose Saturday and all of this NEW CWS BS will start to blow up. Winning cures everything. This game is very important. We beat Mizzou we are 2-1 in the division and could control our own destiny in the East. I'm as sick as anybody over this loss. Time to stop talking about doing it and do it on the field. The fans showed up and it seems like the coaches and players didn't.

UK won't control their destiny in the East until UF loses 2 conference games, playing Bama and LSU I think that is very likely but UK needs them to lose 2 games then they control their own destiny. We beat Missouri last year, only SEC game they lost, but we lost to USC and UF, putting them in the championship game.

I'll be there, of course, just as I have been at most games for the past 20 years, because I like to get kicked in the nuts over and over again.

And in all honesty, the price of a football ticket is no where near the price you have to pay at "other" establishments to have that done. Or at least that's what I've been told!!

How the hell can a uk football fan be entitled?

One of the dumbest things I've ever read...
In the same away a large portion of the population is entitled. People think because they pay for something that they are entitled to a certain degree of service. Be thankful that you have the privilege because somewhere there is a kid that will never have the same luxury.

People aren't used to having to wait on concessions because the stadium has been half full the past 4 or 5 years. This too will pass. Or get your butt out there early and make you some food before you go in, like alot of us do.
Why does UK want people to wait to spend their money? What is in that for UK? If we should make/bring food, then don't have concessions at all. Net, you're ridiculous.

Would love to do it, but just bought a new house in Lexington. Got plenty to spend $ on there already.

Do you expect no lines at the concession stand? Seriously? Go to the game to watch the damn game...if you want something from the concession stand, there will be a line - just like 99% of football stadiums around the country.

What's next, personal service to your football seats?

a lot of ppl have spent a lot of money over the years on UK football...can anyone really blame them if they want to see a return on their investment before spending more? ...especially when they can sit home, watch in HD on the big screen and drink their own beer and not have to fight crowds and traffic?

I love this football team and my school...but its just reality folks...if they want butts in the seats, they cant complain until they start putting W's in the books

Sorry, but many in this fanbase are a bunch of babies. You did not get what you wanted so you are staying home this time? Really? I bet many of you are the younger bunch who does not remember when KY used to get murdered by UF on a yearly basis. So KY lost, yeah it sucks but KY is at least now competing with UF. I have been to many KY a$$ beating by UF, but I enjoyed the game, the stadium, music, atmosphere, etc and was excited when it came down to the last drive. Your not going to win at everything in life and most certainly not every football game. So when KY loses a basketball game are you going to stay home next time? Highly doubt it.

This is a big time game KY needs to win and the fans need to show up. Yes, there are things the team needs to do to get better but if you want a legit SEC program then start acting like a legit SEC football fanbase and show up to a critical SEC game on the schedule. Most would have taken a 3-1 start to begin with. This season is far from over but so many people act like its over now. Crazy...
I am far from giving up on this team, just a little far for me to make it to a game. I've seen a few people talk about how we are now competing with UF. Isn't that more of a refection of how far they have fallen over the past 25 years than how much we have improved?

This team has lost 1 game so far, and everyone wants to jump ship? Nonsense.

Now we at least know why Barnhart reduced seating capacity .... HD TVs and fair weather fans.

I just don't think it is right for people to complain about how other people spend THEIR money...

Less than 2000 tickets were availabel as of last week when I called the ticket office. I BET it sells out if the weather is good this weekend.
The concession stands and bathroom lines are a BIG PROBLEM. We need more bathrooms on both sides of stadium and ALL concession areas NEED to serve ALL options.

I am with you. Its a long drive for me so I picked the UF game to go to and will go to some away games that are closer to me.

About UF, yes they are not the UF of old. That said, I think some of it is because others in the SEC (like KY) are just getting better and not complete doormats like they used to be in the past. Also think more talent is going to other places like a KY because they are now offering as good if not better facilities, support, and quality coaching that the "elite" programs only had on the past. Most of this is because of the amount of money everyone is getting from tv deals, etc. now so there is a tremendous amount of parody. KY is still 2+ years away from having a stacked deck for Stoops to work with, but what they have now is far and away the best collection of talent I can recall in a long time. For once, I saw many KY players who matched FL's athletes (except at the LOS which is where KY is the furthest behind).

I'll be shocked if Saturday's game is a sellout. The UF loss was about as deflating as it gets.
Guess you don't remember the 77-0 kinda drubbings that UofF used to put on the Cats? That's as deflating as it gets! Suck it up! UK had a chance to win on the last drive of the game. Our defense is actually starting to resemble a real defense. Stoops is still in the process of building this program and is assembling more talent for UK than at any point in my lifetime and I'm 37. We will get there and I'm confident UK goes to a bowl game this year but its only year 3 of crawling out of the Joker debacle for crying out loud! Enjoy the process!

If you're going to the concession stand or bathroom at halftime so is everyone else. You're gonna have a line. They can't have 60,000 concession stands and bathrooms for you guys. I thought the lines were much better than the first game.

People act like we're 0-3 and have been blown out in every game. This is Stoops 3rd year and the last 2 years we've had a chance to beat Florida. Something we haven't been able to say for about a decade. It's a process, this is not basketball.

If you're not happy then don't buy season tickets next year and maybe I can get better seats.

That's a different argument than fans not being happy with the product on the field. I for one see a ton of improvement, and think we will be in every game this year in the games most everyone has chalked up as losses - if not pull a few of those off (MissSt, Mizzou, Auburn, UT specifically...UGA possibly - tho they are playing lights out).

UF is better than we are giving them credit for.....they still have loads of talent (more than us, based on Rivals recruiting rankings last 4 years) and they now have a good coach. We lost a defensive nail biter....glad we aren't rejoicing in a moral victory, but if we had a bounce in our favor here or there, we win that game.

Kentucky fans lol always ready to boycott and stay home. Really to me it sounds like that Joker boycott was simply people doing what they wanted to do from the start - staying home. It's as if decent football is actually getting in the way of their fried balogne and cheese + Mt Dews on their Lazy Boy!

After what I experienced in Section 7, some people need to stay home. I don't get the folks that are genuinely annoyed when fans stand up and scream and try to encourage others to participate. I literally had to ask a guy, "Why are you here?" He had no answer... So, yes, show up. But show up with a purpose!!!!

We are 2-1 and 1-1 in conference play and people are ready to quit on this team.

And people complained about the microwave comment.
who is quitting on the team? some old guy who cant walk miles? betcha he watches on TV and buys some UK swag this week.

and guess what, we'll continue to suck when Stoops and Co go elsewhere because fans use past performances to excuse them from supporting this program.
Overall, we have some of the best fans in the country. We have always supported football, with the exception of a few years with Curry and Joker.

As someone as had already mentioned, UK is lucky to have the fans we do have.
