Was just ruled academically ineligible at Purdue. I know Kentucky has plenty of weapons but maybe Kentucky take a look if he can get the academic side straightened out

Don't see how he could play this season if eligible? Its after may 1 portal date. Why would someone academically ineligible get a waiver. Tremendous talent, love him at UK somehow for 22 or 23.

I believe there is a rule that he has to be in good standing with academics before they can enter the transfer portal and be eligible immediately. But if he isn't passing enough classes to be eligible at Purdue, or anywhere else, he isn't going to have enough class credits to transfer and be eligible anywhere else.

Maybe he could spend a year or two at Eastern, Murray or some other smaller School then transfer to UK. of course provided he has enough eligibility left to do that

A friend who played at the FCS level told me years ago that you basically had to quit going to class to become ineligible.
