The story, of course, will be Stroud and all the time he has had, but ultimately, the difference is the two missed FGs and the Bennett interception.

When Georgia got cute on its first possession and blew a great scoring opportunity (after playing great defense on its first possession), the game shifted and OSU took command. Georgia hasn’t played that badly, but this is the game OSU wants.

They played the SECCG though.

OSU has been resting since Thanksgiving (similar to Bama the year they beat UGA in the CFP final).
They have, but I also think Georgia losing that game to bama is what helped them win the championship combined them having unreal amounts of talent and possible the best defense in college football in a while

The Dawg defense has been mediocre tonight.

They better hold the Buckeyes to 3 here to have a shot.

This game is a great one. OSU looking like the better team. I just wish they didn’t use pac12 refs. You can tell they aren’t use to this speed

The Dawgs defense has been lax tonight. Not staying in lanes, losing containment, giving too big of a cushion, missing tackles.

Sure. But again, a very different situation than what was discussed.

But last year, Georgia lost to Alabama in Atlanta, as they always do, and the SEC got its second playoff team.

A month later, they got to play them in Indianapolis, with a non conference officiating crew.

It helped.

Here we go. I'm glad we got some good semis for once. I only wish I hadn't been on the road for all but the second half of this one.

I’m glad I didn’t say what I was going to about Bennet before this drive started. I would have had egg all over my face 🫢
