They may win the NC without facing Alabama.

Everyone knows how important that will be to going 15-0.

This OSU game was their toughest test of the year. This was the game they had to win to completely legitimize the run.
I hope TCU gives them a game and wins, I just don’t know if they can match UGAs physical play, it’s whole other world compared to Michigan

I don’t think UGA can fix it’s weaknesses over the next week.

But, OSU is better than TCU, IMO.

UGA got cute a few too many times on offense today. Against TCU, they need to just go for the jugular from the word “go” and they might score 55+ points

Washington getting knocked out early was a huge blow to UGAs offensive philosophy as well.
Most definitely!!

When we went to the UGA game last year, we had seats about 5 rows from the field and that kid is the BIGGEST TE I've ever seen!!! He is bigger than the POPE kid that played for Georgia years ago!! He's not just tall, he is WIDE!!!

They got cute that possession too. It was stupid.

Next two possessions: they went for the jugular.

As you said do that from the start and tcu game won't be much of a problem IMO. Michigan effed around and gave tcu confidence and a big lead due to stupid turnovers and playcalling.

Uga just needs to take care of the ball and destroy tcu with physicality.

It’s also bullsh that ESPN put herbstreit on this call when he should have obviously been on the earlier game due to conflict of interest. Now, if this was the only prime time game today, I would understand but there was another high profile game that he should have been calling instead

He has called several OSU playoff games over the years. He is their number 1 guy.

tOSU got curb stomped at home by their arch rival in the last game of the season, backed into the playoff with the USC loss, then got to sit home and lick their wounds while these other 3 teams played. This was some sweet karma.
Alabama literally did that in 2018.

You couldn't have asked for 2 more exciting games than these 2 games this evening. That was high quality offensive play.
Oh how I wish the Cats could play offense the way those four teams play it. It is exciting and when you can score you always have a shot at victory.

We think we have skilled receivers, a running back and NFL QB but those teams were on another level. Speed to burn. And it comes in waves. The Championship game should be fun.

You so right about the talent we saw in yesterday playoff games and throw in Bama in the Sugar Bowl. It a level that UK just can't match

MI did that to OSU but couldn’t do it to TCU. Net, easier said than done imo.

Kirby was kind of banging on his players after the game but the play calling on several drives in the 2nd half (when the run game was dead) and clock mgt on the last drive were very dubious.

Leaving the 54 seconds on the Clock after last drive did worry me. But you got to get the TD when you can and the player was open

I am talking play clock. They ran tempo on the last two plays. Even the announcers were wondering why they were sprinting to the line after the big downfield play. I guess you can argue that tempo was part of the TD but I think you gotta play for the last possession the way OSU was moving the ball.

College football is still about defense however now you have to hold teams to 30 while you score 45. If you play hard nose defense anymore you will be penalized to death for unnecessary roughness.

I was concerned about leaving too much time on the clock too. But we trailed by 6, wasn't like we were tied or down by 3 or less and could have kicked a. FG, had to have a TD. SO he took it when the opportunity showed. Maybe we were lucky, but they had the lead and needed a stop, we went down the field and got the win.

OSU play-calling on the last possession reminded me EXACTLY of Alabama’s at Tennessee in October.

All I know is that there are no B10 teams playing in the Championship game. :) And I love that.
