It always seems like MSU grinds it out offensively throughout the year – struggling to shoot or often even score well from anywhere – and losing games early that they were expected to win. Then by the end of the year, MSU seems to get just competent enough on offense (combined with hard-nosed defense) to win some tough tournament games – and even flip the script and beat teams in the tournament as the underdog.
