And go to the Final Four. You can set your watch to that when MSU looks bad in Nov-Dec.
Every time I see Mich State early in the year they always look awful, and damn near every March there they sit in the final four.
Yep, it's almost halftime now, so let's go ahead and write them off for good.
Yet I never really consider them a threat to win it.
I can't stand Mich St. It's basically Tubby at Kentucky with a better bounce at the right times and more support. Horrible.
I agree with this. It's hard to watch MSU. I only watch because I lived there until a couple months ago and have a lot of family and friends that love MSU. I'm just glad UK no longer plays that kind of ball. Thank you Cal.
Exactly...izzo is one hell of a lucky coach and his old school ways have bit him in the ass in the end. He is finally kicking and screaming wising up to the OAD, the hell with him.
Cal and Izzo play pretty similar grind it out styles ... we just tend to have better players.

If I remember they went after Ulis hard. They really do need a player like him, it would change their whole game. But man I'm glad he plays for us.
Disagree..Cal seemingly grinds it out because of youth and teams not knowing what the hell they are doing..izzo grinds it out regardless of who he has out there, always has, always well. Its why he dosent get elite players year in and out. that and his other ways.

Im not saying MSU isnt committing some fouls but anyone else notice there is a difference in how much contact KU gets away with and how much MSU does?
It's always hilarious when people take a snap shot of a game, not to mention it being in November, and act like this is the team they are going to be all season.
FT's. KU 28 and MSU 12....... MSU is fouling yes but MSU should have at least 20 FT's by now... at least.
Same thing happened in our game.
And I hate blaming the refs for anything but half our team was in serious foul trouble.
