Cmon man. If you aren't impressed by Louisville then you aren't looking very hard. The 2 fifth year seniors make them a good team. They have length, shooters and they play good defense.
I don't call that good defense,I call that pushing rules to the limit and not getting all the fouls called
Their gaurd play is pretty good but at the same time if Valentine doesn't touch the ball for MSU every trip then MSU is useless so it's hard to gauge anything.
Lee and Lewis look pretty good. Amazing how 2 mid major guys make them that good after his 5 star Blackshear may have proved to be the worst player on his team. Terrence Jennings vs Blackshear who was the worse developed 5 star?
UL is better than advertised. I never bought into them being awful this year. They're about as good as they were last year team wise even though they don't have the talent. This is a good team for Pitino to coach. A bunch of nobodies, less egos, not worried about the NBA. All jokes aside, Pitino is better with those teams
The amount of attempted 10-15 foot passes by Mich St is dumbfounding. Picked off every time for fast break layups.

Louisville is going to win this game and I hate it! I was so looking foward to listening to the radio on the way to work in the morning.
UL will be a final four team...they have very good balance and our very big. Two fifth year seniors who can score really help. Making a mockery of the game...those kids don't care nothing about UL
Whoa. You actually had me shaking my head when i read the first part of ul and final four. I'm sure most UL fans are thinking final four right about now. I don't have the heart to point out the obvious so i will let them spend at least one night thinking they have a shot at the final four.
Here is the thing about UL. They are as good as they are going to be because the 5th years (while both very good) are all they have. Onuaku and Mathiang both look marginally better than last year and Snider appears to have regressed. Tonight they look pretty even with Michigan St and honestly probably win this at the bucket. That said, everyone else in the top 25 will continue to get better. I am much more concerned with KU, UNC, Duke development.
All the other crap aside, the last few years have shown Pitino is a heck of coach. 5 years ago, I thought he was washed up.
He has struggled with recruiting. That gets harder as you get older, and even harder to recruit top tier talent at UL. So he had to resort to trouble-makers and hookers.
It's something to think about, if he had not left UK in 1997. I wonder how many more titles we would have had. Oh well....

Louisville might be great by end of the year, if their bigs keep developing. Really impressive performance from them tonight.
It's amazing how many posters don't understand it's a 40 minute game. Not just this thread.
