Men who chose to not have children, how did it go?

Pretty sure I know why you two aren't having any kids. Get a hotel room and have it out already đŸ˜‚

Kids are tough, probably the hardest thing I've done. The rewards far outweigh the difficulties though.
Pretty sure you don't know a thing. Freedom to be able to pivot to a different woman at any given time with no repurcussions or living the last 30-40 years of your life with an old one that you have zero attraction to. Have fun with that. While you are telling the internet that she's 65 but looks 35, the rest of us will see 65. Period.

There's nothing wrong at all with having kids, but erroneously calling someone gay because they don't want to be stuck for life with one person makes you look unhappy and bitter. And sure you could get a divorce but many of us don't want to go through all of that just to have kids. Dogs are much easier.

No disrespect taken. I think being a father is much like lifting weights. If you’re not willing to go to war and get in the trenches to do those things, don’t do them cause the results won’t be of high quality

(Double bicep flex)
I lift weight, but only my own. đŸ’ª :p Actually, I use the total gym so, literally lifting my own weight. and I am a father. Man, I must be killing it.

When people like you are so nasty about it being done your way or that you're a "real man", it only validates their reason to avoid your situation. NOBODY would be so nasty if they were really happy. Sux for you.

Dang dude, it was not meant that way. Chill

My wife is 67 and looks 35. Believe it or not. I could not care less, I am thankful as my wife is nicer than she looks and she's a looker and can cook. I'd post her pic in a heart beat but too many weirdo's on this site. I am God-given lucky and Blessed....

I’m 48 and my wife and I have been married 17 years and have a 9yo son. I wish we would have had a second, but I also want to retire by 60, so we decided to stick with one.

Having him later worked great for us, as it allowed us to have 8 years of just the 2 of us to do a lot and also allowed us to advance in our careers so we could provide a great life for our son, while also putting money away for our retirement goal.

No right or wrong answer to this one….our approach worked out really well for us….and him.
