I share everyone's sentiments about Parrish, and I agree that it's a joke that the 'Cats aren't in his Top 25, but ...
I was just taking a look at Missouri, in anticipation of Wednesday night's game, and I find that Mizzou is 8-11 overall, 1-5 in the SEC, and that their eight (8) wins have come against Wofford, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Arkansas State, Northern Illinois, Omaha, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Savannah State, and . . . [ drum roll ] . . . AUBURN ! ! ! One would have to assume that our loss to Auburn looms large in any assessment of the 'Cats performance this season.
I think somebody posited on this board after the Auburn game that it was U.K.'s worst loss under Calipari. I really didn't think much about that post at the time. Outside of the Duke game, we have played so poorly this year that, well, who's counting. But reviewing Missouri's schedule thus far has led me to conclude that that poster was right. How in God's name could we lose to Auburn ? And blow a 10-point lead, no less ! ! ! That's rich as three-foot-up-a-bull's-a..... !
But, we have a HOF coach and the No. 1 Recruiting Class, and will undoubtedly have the greatest number of NBA draftees again this summer. Rejoice ! ! !
