But seriously Cards, congrats on your 58th ranked class!

Boston College, Duke, and Syracuse are all probably pretty worried right about now.

UL has to worry about the ACC not the SEC or where we are at. Their bread and butter is there conference, if they are 2nd or third in their division that's a good place for them to be at.

They clearly got the memo and recruited more weight to the trenches. 359 lb DT
And that is a good pickup for them...... but they will need more than one big boy recruit per class, and years of those classes. They can't compete with the talent and depth Stoops has built on both lines, and they won't for several years unless they recruit that position better.

Totally underrated post. I remember being so excited for that 4 star safety

I thought for sure he was going to take our defense to the next level. I mean we had a 4* now how could it not? I also remember he was supposed to be a kick return specialist if I recall correctly.

Sadly, Aaron Boyd was another 4* bust that I was really excited about at the time he signed, although now that I think about it he was recruited by Brooks.

Boyd should have been a TE from day one, he had no business at WR. Should have been an Cummings type TE for us back then.

.... or DJ Stafford..... At least Faulkner made it on to campus.

Forgot all about DJ Stafford and wasn't there another highly rated DL recruit that signed with us that never made it on campus under Joker? Oh and the LSU O-Lineman that came here for one year and then transfered back to LSU.

Come on now

as my HG, Charlotte Flair says “#1 never acknowledges #2”

Yep. Was going to say the same. They dontneed to be 12th in the country in recruiting to be top 3 in the ACC.

Class ranking isn't their biggest problem. Development and use IS, and their recruiting is suffering because of that.

UL will always have the advantage over Vandy (and 2 other SEC SCHOOLS AT LEAST) headed into the post-season because of the grind of the SEC. It really us brutal. If each SEC school got to play 2 ACC schools each season in place of 2 of their conference games, the entire conference would be bowl eligible
