Maybe an unpopular take - women announcers are difficult to listen to.

Football today, the good looking blonde commentator was talking about how one of the QBs had improved this season with making his progressions 1-2-3. I couldn't help but think, lower the camera so I can check out how big her boobs are. Is that bad of me?

Not sure why so many posters are comfortable posting that fundamentally - they just don’t like women and don’t like listening to them. Female announcers don’t bother me at all if they have pleasant voices.

And those complaining about using women to announce men’s games, are you similarly offended by men coaching women’s teams (considering the reverse never happens) - like our team? That’s just a ridiculous argument.

I'd say it depends on the commentator. There are some who do really well. Generalizations can get you in trouble because there are exceptions all around. But many women don't think or observe things in the same way men do, so men want to hear details about the game, statistics, observations about unique plays and athletic plays, and commentary about the players, coaches, and their history. And they want to hear from an authority or an expert, like a former player or coach, or a sports broadcaster who knows the game well.

So, I don't care if I'm listening to a woman or a man. I just want to know I'm hearing from someone who knows and understands the game, the teams and players, the coaches, and so on. I've seen a few women who could do that. But I've seen a few who clearly weren't there for their knowledge of the game but maybe other reasons.

If they can't cook send them to the utility room to do laundry keep them busy . I am getting my wife a new dish washer for Christmas so to go along with a year supply of tide detergent I am now going to get her a year supply of cascade too my wife has never had it so good

Question I've never had this happen but why did it ask me to confirm my like to the OP's post? Like it felt like it was telling me I should feel bad for liking this post lol

A lot of people with callouses on the backs of their knuckles in here. That's not a good combination when you're also a whiner.

i don’t like women announcers doing men’s sports either, but i don’t like most announcers period. i often watch games with the volume muted which irritates my wife, which makes it even more enjoyable.

I like Doris Burke. Candace Parker did a great job in the studio during March Madness.

I can’t think of any others I like.

Most male announcers are annoying too, especially when you get past ESPN’s 2nd or 3rd announcing teams.
