Just listened to Matt's Periscope. He stated as of this past Thursday people at Kentucky felt that Diallo would return but that he had been out of the loop for the last few days. I am only relaying information and I do not care what anyone thinks about his political affiliation and whether he KNOWS anything or not.

I would be so thrilled if he is right.Losing Bamba was a downer but I'm expecting good things from Richards/SKJ.We would have a very good team.
Dude worked out for Brooklyn last week and then canceled all remaining workouts. They have two picks in the 20s. Makes me think they gave him an assurance they'd take him at one of the spots and he's happy with it.
Think Matt Jones has been out of the loop. Not Cal. Unless I'm misunderstanding.

That makes sense since he's from NYC. His neighborhood is less than an hour from Barclays Center. I can't think of any other reason he might want to be on the Nets, but I haven't followed them lately. I'd hate to see him go, but I'd be happy for him if he wants to play in NYC and gets to do it.
Canceled workouts? You have a link on that because I was thinking the Nets were his final workout. Haven't heard anything about him canceling any workouts.

How did you even construe that Cal and Diallo never talked from that post?
I probably misinterpreted something I read that suggested he was just finished with workouts rather than cancelling any that remained.
I misconstrued that Diallo was not in contact with the coaches, but now I see that the OP was saying Matt was out of the loop. Appy Polly Loggies.
Cut Nets must be on cloud 9 today, with Cruise confirming that the sequel to Top Gun is happening. (coming in 2020 or 2021.)
