It was on his show today. He also said it was just his gut feeling, not any scoop or scuttlebutt. FWIW, the other three guys on the show all thought he'd still be the coach as of next Friday.

Honestly if it requires Mitch actually sacking up Cal will be our coach through the end of his lifetime contract and possibly beyond. Mitch is part of the problem.

Same here. We've heard he was gone after the 9-16 year, after the St. Peter's year, after last year, and now. There have been countless threads the last few years with "solid sources" saying Cal leaving is a done deal. I guess if you say it enough you'll be right eventually, but I'll believe it when I see it.
There is NO WAY IN HELL that Cal will be the coach here next season. We may have to wait until after the final game to find his replacement, but Cal is dead man walking.

Yeah I think hour 1 he says Cal is gone in a week then in hour 2 I thought he pointed out this is too much money to buy him out. Haven’t listened to all of hour 2 yet though.

IF he is still coach next season it's only because of the stupid contract Mitch gave him and we can't afford to fire him. The results of the past 5 years are fire worthy. NOBODY should ever get a lifetime contract because no one is bigger than the program but that's exactly what's been going on.
