If Stoops’ right-hand man that’s been with him since day #1 is bailing for the same position at UL, it has to be over. Surely. Hopefully.
If that's true that has to mean Stoops is gone.
Marrow flirts with other schools every couple years to get a raise. Then a few days later he's all smiles on Twitter with Stoops with a cocktail in his hands at Ruby's.

I’ll say this with 💯 certainty, if Vince and White leave, the situation at UK is all over for Stoops. This situation may bring down Mitch as well.

Why should we trust Stoops and Marrow to fix this when they are the people who created the mess in the first place?
Handcuffing UK with the Cal and Stoops contract is more than grounds for termination. We can only hope he retires though Capilouto will never fire him.
It won’t be up to Capilouto, it will be the boosters. Problem is that the main booster is tight with both Stoops and Vince.
There are 2 guys from the whole staff that I want to stay. Marrow and white. Don’t care what stoops does but either way I want those two guys.
Marrow going to UL would be a heel move 100%. It’s the most non-Vince move I can think of. It actually makes more sense for it to be a rumor floated by Vince himself for whatever crazy reason.

Seems to me VM could be convinced to stay if Sumrall were hired as HC. They've worked together in the past so each knows the importance of the other. Seems batshit crazy VM would go running out the door with his hair on fire if Stoops wasn't retained.
The craziest part of a Vince departure wouldn’t be the departure. It would be going to UL.
True and I just don't see that with him given the choice of going to U6 or staying here with Sumrall.
I think the more realistic scenario would be going to UL or staying here with stoops. At least at this very minute.
I’ve heard that Vince is part of the locker room culture problem.
Only way I could see this being true is if he's really a Kenny Payne type who doesn't enforce any discipline and plays the "cool Unc/Grandpa" role too well.
You would think Vince would understand the Impact and History of Rick Pitino going to UL and how UK fans reacted.
Quick google search shows Marrow makes approx as much money as the UofL OC and DC combined. They can’t pay anywhere close to what we do (and that gap is about to get larger). There is the whole issue if we aren’t getting a return on our investment with coaching salaries, but coaches aren’t going to UofL unless it’s a promotion or they get let go here.

I will calm you guys down by saying I'd be very skeptical that he is going to make what he is making at UK over here; he's wrangled salary well beyond his worth with this type of stunt before. Additionally....Louisville really doesn't recruit the high school ranks to the extent UK does; they feel like they get more ROI from an experienced player out of the Portal.
I might sound a little chesty saying this, but in the context of what he offers as a position coach and de facto recruiting coordinator he doesn't really fit at Louisville.
