markelle fultz uk next committ ???

Maybe he just wants to see Drake and have a good time
If you are suggesting that Giles is not seriously considering Kentucky, I don't believe that. This won't be his 1st BBM, and there has been enough evidence in his statements to conclude he regards Kentucky as a serious option. His decision to leave the state of North Carolina for his senior year of high school is interesting too. But if you suggest Kentucky is not the current favorite, or that Kentucky will have a difficult time signing him, then we agree. If you are only suggesting that he likes Drake, then IDK. LOL!

I think Duke is way ahead of UK and will take a miracle for him to end up anywhere but Duke.

Nope. Giles will attend BBM. This will be his 2nd BBM trip. I don't think anyone considers Kentucky the favorite at this point. But if Giles wasn't seriously considering Kentucky, he would not be doing this. We have a decent shot to get him, and his recent decision to play his senior year of high school out of state helps our chances. There isn't a high school player in the country that Calipari will prioritize over Giles if he thinks he can get him. Everyone pretty much agrees Giles is the best high school big in many years.

Some are saying that Ayton is better than Giles. I don't know, I haven't seen them enough to know personally.

It's probably a moot point since: a. they are in different classes at this time and b. Giles isn't likely coming to UK (once again, just based on what everyone is saying, I have no idea).

Who? If that's true, it's interesting. I have seen several sources rate Ayton as the top player in 2017. But I haven't seen anyone rate him as a better player than Giles. Giles already has international competitive experience, and looked fantastic. Analysts have been calling Giles the best big prospect in the last decade, and I can see why. The factor that makes me most skeptical is that the reclassification talk seems to be an internet rumor without any foundation from Ayton's camp. Don't get me wrong. Would love to see Ayton play at Kentucky, whenever he is available.

That seems to be the conventional wisdom, and it might be right. Tatum went ahead and committed. Giles is waiting. Giles will play his senior year at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, not at Wesleyan Christian Academy in North Carolina. All of that might mean nothing. Maybe he is coming to BBM to see Drake. But I remember a year ago when everyone was sure Labissiere was going to Memphis. Taking a great player away from Kryzewski is more difficult than taking a great player away from Pastner, but I still find Giles' trip to BBM interesting. Getting him back on campus means he could reconsider.

Thanks for this interesting link. I'm sure these guys at Scout think they have a reason to rank Ayton ahead of a Giles, although it isn't clear from the brief synopsis. Maybe they have studied the 2 players carefully, or maybe they are just slapping something together to satisfy a quota. But I disagree. Ayton is a little longer, and I know he has a chance to be a great player. But Giles is stronger, quicker, more skilled, and much more experienced against top competition. Given a choice between the 2, I would take Giles and not look back. But would also be glad to have Ayton.

I would take either one and smile.
