The Stoops’ teams we’re seeing today look nothing like the tough, gritty teams of years past. That likely isn’t ever coming back because we have a coach that settled in and got way too comfortable. That happens. Same thing happened to Cal. Coaches can stay at places too long and that’s what we’re experiencing now.
I’ll always love Stoops and be grateful for everything he accomplished, but the program isn’t going to suddenly move forward this late in his tenure. It Sucks for all parties.
