Michigan state isn't a bad alternativeI think he'll accept. Why wouldn't he?

I say go for Smith and Baker.
Pg- Green / Baker
Sg- Diallo / Smith
Sf- Vanderbilt/ Alexander
Pf- Washington / Gabriel
C - Bamba / Richards
That's a 10 man roster I can live with
I'd rather have Johnson and one of Smith and Baker. We need some experience in the backcourt.
G Green/Alexander
G Diallo/Johnson/Smith or Baker
F Washington/Vanderbilt
F Bamba/Gabriel
F Richards/Killeya-Jones/Wynyard
Solid 12-man roster.
Im thinking he takes both if he can..
He'd be in the same boat as freshmen... he doesnt know how to play Cal's style so he's basically inexperienced.
I kind of figured Michigan State when I read an interview where he talked about how he enjoyed watching their games when he was younger.Rumor is that Smith has committed to Michigan State.

Nooooooo!!! I wanted Mark Smith at UK!! Complete player!!
He hasn't committed. Someone from the HOB said that MSU is not as confident as they were and that the longer it drags out the better. They got the information from someone with MSU.Hate if if the Mark Smith rumors are true.I hope we can get Johnson and Baker.
Yeah...wondering if Cal wants both?? If he's only taking one, I'd rather have Smith....stronger, more athletic, and DEEP rangeHave any experts heard anything about Smith and his offer?

Yeah, that's what we're hearing too. I was actually hoping he'd go to UK. MSU is gonna be loaded for awhile.Rumor is that Smith has committed to Michigan State.
I have said it before but people on here are getting goofy (and stupid) with the Smith stuff. He's a decent long-term prospect.
I have seen him play multiple times in the area. He's a very good high school player but has major areas to work on. His defense is subpar, he isn't in great shape, is an average athlete. He's a nice player but not anything that will be a difference maker at UK at least for 2-3 years.
Johnson is FAR and away superior to this kid.
I would take Johnson first, then Baker, and then Smith.
