Sources are reporting. That would be a big pickup.
If we’re trying to clean up the culture, we should probably stay away from this guy. I mean he got kicked off of UT. How many people did he have to murder for that to happen?I would take him or Kaidon Salter
Auburn got Jackson Arnold from OU yesterday. They are out on MurphyAuburn is all over Murphy (he already took a 2-day visit). Hate to say he might just be using us to drive the price up.
Didn't see that. Thank you for the update. Could be a good get for the Tigers, unfortunately!Auburn got Jackson Arnold from OU yesterday. They are out on Murphy

3k yards is pedestrian? What’s so great about Murphy? Pretty pedestrian numbers in the ACC.
I’d much rather take 3k yards and 26 TDs from a guy in his first year starting than another highly rated backup like Vandagriff. Murphy was highly rated out of HS himself committing originally to Texas and had some solid numbers leading Duke to 9-3 record.3k yards is pedestrian?
It can be with a 60% completion rate and 12 INTs.3k yards is pedestrian?
60 percent isn’t bad lol. The ints aren’t great but it was his first year as starter. I would’ve loved for our QB to have had those numbers last year. Not to mention who exactly do yall think we can get in the portal? Come on lolIt can be with a 60% completion rate and 12 INTs.
Devin Leary threw for 3400+ yards and 35 TD's with only 5 int's in 2021 at NC St. How'd that work out for us when we got him. Leary wasn't the most mobile guy either. We need a guy with some pocket presence who is a threat to run as well.In another thread I posted about getting Murphy. I was roasted by a couple of posters. "He had 11 INTs", "he can't scramble", "he throws dinks and dunks". I countered back with "3,000 years and 29 TD's is 3,000 yards and 29 TD's, no matter how you get it." Not to mention it was his first year as a starter and has 2 years left to play.
Most of that was our fault. Leary was a spread shotgun QB. He was not a under center pro style passing QB. It was not a good fit.Devin Leary threw for 3400+ yards and 35 TD's with only 5 int's in 2021 at NC St. How'd that work out for us when we got him. Leary wasn't the most mobile guy either.
