Looks Like UT's Wearing All-Black Uniforms for Kentucky

UK's. šŸ˜

Nope. UK is certainly a rival, but old-timers consider Bama our true rival, while younger fans tend to view UF as our true rival. Those are the 2 games that get circled. If UK can get a streak goung against UT then a newer generation of UT fans might view UK as a new "true rival", although UGA hasn't yet achieved true rival status despite its recent success. For me, it is always Bama, with UF second because of its overall success over UT over the last 3 decades.
Make no mistake. UT fans can deal with losing to Bama.

They can even handle losing to Florida.

What they absolutely can not handle is losing to UK.

As a UT fan, will you be ok losing to UK.

If yes, why? If not. How come? I'll hang up and listen. Be honest.

How would we know how it feels to lose to the wildcats ? Even in our darkest years we continue to beat UK. Even your greatest coach of all time Stoops , in your best years in the program are what 2-7 ??

if team A has beaten team B 51 of the last 58 times they have playedā€¦ well

There you are. Typical UT fan.
Conveniently forgets the last 5 years just like those two losses to UK didnā€™t count.

Go back to smoking your M--h.
Your name says it all. Cod Sac.

That does sound like something you'd call somebody if you were trying to start a fight w/ them: "What are you looking at, you cod sack..."

Well, make sure SC fans don't get wind of this new revelation or they will also start pretending UT fans consider SC our true rival since UT actually broke out the black unis for them first.

The blacks are reserved for big games. That's just facts. I don't decide when your team wears them

Tennessee was bowl eligible in 2020.
You mean 2021. UT was 3-7 in 2020.

True. As are the greys, which they wore for UF. They aren't going to wear alternates for the TSIO; they had proposed having UT in all orange unis with Bama in all red, as they used to do, but for some reason it didn't happen. But the players wanted to do the blacks and the only 2 games left on the schedule against ranked teams are UK and UGA, and the latter is a road game so the UK game was the last chance this season to wear them in a meaningful game. So yes, UK is the last big home game left against a ranked opponent, so you get the blacks.

You must not follow UT Football:

The ā€œVolunteers accepted a bid to the Liberty Bowl. However, the team had to withdraw on December 21 due to positive COVID-19 testing.[2] They were led by third-year head coach Jeremy Pruitt, in what would turn out to be his final year.ā€
Yo're right. I quit paying attention to the 2020 UT season after we lost to UK because I knew at that point we sucked and the rest of the season would be a sh*t show..

But now that you mention it, I do remember that UT received a bid to the Liberty Bowl. Maybe the one good thing about COVID, other than getting to work from home, as it kept UT from the embarrassment of going to a bowl with a 3-7 record, only to lose to some other crap team and finish 3-8.

But it is interesting that you know all things UT. Closet Vols fan? šŸ˜‰

Oddly, the very moment you stopped following UT Football in 2020 was the moment I began. My car trunk is still full of ā€œGarantano for Heismanā€ buttons, and McDonaldā€™s bags with Monopoly money crammed in them.

What could have been!!

LOL. Touche.

Oh, by the way, I hope those weren't the same money bags the UK basketball team used. I would hate to think UT went the cheap route and were using recycled bags.

You are 3-2 v UK in the last 5 and UK beat dat ass in Neyland most recently.

Stop with the facts.

UT fans live in fantasy land concerning the past 15 years and you are ruining it with all these truth bombs.

Have mercy. šŸ˜ƒšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
Thereā€™s a whole lot of selective amnesia reflected, above.

Itā€™s as though their defense mechanism to avoid discussing the last 15 seasons is to simply forget they actually occurred.

youā€™re bragging about beating a ā€œbowl eligibleā€ 3 win team like itā€™s a gotcha moment.

I never brought it up until a UT fan said we'd never beaten a "bowl eligible" UT team.

Hell, if that win is meaningless, 4/5's of UT's 30 year dominance is meaningless . . . the vast majority of those wins coming against pathetic UK teams.

Theyā€™ve also beaten the best UK teams fielded.

I am if there is such a thing and objective Kentucky football fan. Stoops the winningest UK football coach ever is two and seven against the creepiest decade of Ut football ever I do not understand why all this argument goes back-and-forth. Your record is what it says it is
I post a question earlier this week, when was the last time Kentucky beat Tennessee in football where it really mattered a lot.

now that Tennessee appears to be back, if they continue to be ā€œbackā€œ and we beat them 50% of the time, well, that is a great accomplishment. Our fans need to STFU, until our record indicates otherwise and head to head battle stopping a streak by beating Tennessee 10 to 7 in the most boring game ever played in the history of college football is not an accomplishment other than stopping a streak if we beat them this week which I think is highly doubtful and a big mismatch then thatā€™s something to brag about. Come at me if you want, my fellow UK grads

You can always tell when it is close to Halloween, all these UT fans keep dressing up as UK football fans just so they can trick or treat on our board.

P.S. EVERY WIN AGAINST UT IS A GAME THAT REALLY MATTERS......IF YOU ARE A UK FAN.

UT has beaten us in basketbatball several times the past few years since our basketball team has been down. And even though those games didn't "matter a lot" in the big picture, ask them if they were important to them.

You can answer for them if you like.

No. Do you want to accept that then we are ā€œ happyā€ with being a little above averageā€¦ unless you want to go back to 1950

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

Been a Cat football fan since early 60's.
