I agree, we haven’t slowed down looking for anyone. The word was we were flush with cash so idk why everyone had this narrative like we couldn’t complete. Seems like Pope just won’t overspend for one guy which is smart unless they are like AD level.
The wait is gonna be awful for the season to start. My poor Braves have Imploded so the dog days of summer are looking mighty long at this time and Kentucky Football isn’t inspiring confidence in me anymore.

The naysayers on money were always wrong. UK has not lost a player over money. And they won’t lose a player over money.
And alot of posters on this board need to do some deep soul searching as the way they have acted the last few weeks has been embarrassing. Will they learn? No. They don't want too. They have a hidden agenda to see Pope fail.

Just watching the different people in college basketball on youtube and they have us somewhere in the 5th to 12th place in preseason. Some have not updated in a while. Th is add should put most with us the the top 5 for now (depends on how each team and building the rosters works out over the next month or so.

Yeah, I survived. But it was pretty scary for a little while. There is a small stream behind my house, fairly close, and it was overflowing. The wind was blowing so hard, I swear I could see white caps on the waves!!!🙂 What about you? Did you do okay?

Can we just be honest and admit this roster isn’t good? I put them side by side against the 1992 Team USA and I just don’t think we are as good. FARRRRRRRRR POPE!
And seems like he won’t go spend way too much for one guy versus crap for the rest. Seems he wants a balanced roster full of guys all in the same level and all getting roughly similar paydays so there’s no animosity among teammates. We should be legit top 5 going into the season and actually (hopefully) be able to have some modicum of continuity going forward beyond next season with the roster makeup.

UK isnt a top dog nil wise and no amount of blue tinted glasses can change that.
Pope is doing a great job at finding value. It also helped that we must've pulled aments money. I think jq was the better spend of those two and jq was cheaper to boot.
Hopefully this settlement gets approved and nil is capped at 20 mil. Imo that will help because it gives the money people a specific target.

I am on board! I'll also say that I'm getting really excited for Kam Williams. I got a hunch that this is going to be really special, and be Liggins-esque for us. He can shoot, he is very athletic, plays hard and plays great defense! I love Kam's game and think he's going to shock a lot of people! GBB
Your PFP logo is my favorite of all time. I so wish we would go retro and use that or penis tongue again. Best logos ever. I try to buy every piece of gear I can in the classic K.
