Lonzo Ball unveils freakin $495 shoe

L. Ball (the son) is slotted to make about $4million next year. Pretty sure if his son believes the shoe is marketable, he is footing the bill.

The news outlets say 4600 have been sold. If the Balls' get $100 per pair, they have already made back nearly $500,000. If they get upto $400 per pair, then you are looking at nearly $2million dollars.

Yes there are that many ignorant people in the world.

You must be youngster or live in a more expensive part of the country. Mine were 7.16 with tax.Remember my mom telling me that I must be out of my mind if I thought she was paying that for a pair of tennis shoes
For some reason $8.95 sticks in my mind. could've been less, i'm talkin 1956 in s ohio.
Keds and red ball jets were several dollars cheaper and not cool.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a guy like wall buy a pair just to play against ball in them while hanging 50 and messing around and getting a triple double then give them to an underprivileged kid in the stands or Oscar pistorius

think Ball would care? that just means he sold a pair of shoes

Yes I am not arguing but about everyone who wears Jordans is in the same boat. So there are millions of us . But I can step back and look at it and think about how crazy it is but I still would do it again . Love my Jordan 11's . Hell just bought some new low cut carolina blue ones for 190 a week ago when they went up. My point being spending 200 on some top of the line J's is one thing but 500 for some no name brand asshole dad shoes? WTF is he thinking ?

I'm a huge collector of several types of memorabilia, yes certain shoes, and Jordan's are something I won't do. True story.

My girlfriend (sh*t wife I mean) wanted to put our son in Jordan's because she though they looked better than the others. My answer? Absolutely not. Why? Because he's UNC. No thanks. Lebron (don't like really) supports UK, UK wears his gear, my kid wears blue Lebrons. Ugly or not.

And you seriously just bought a bitch blue pair? UNC colorway?

Powder puff blue Michael Jordan shoes.

Think this through.

Jordan's are overrated anyway, they sell them at Ross.
They sell Jordan's every where bc it was part of what they had to do it terms of controlling counterfeits. From a economic standpoint they over manufactured the shoe, which drove the price down but it stopped them from losing tons of money because so many places were making fakes selling them at ridiculous prices when they were more rare.

I've never owned a pair of Jordan basketball shoes since I was a kid. But his training line of shoes are comfortable as hell to wear at the gym.

Loved those shoes.

Damn, son. Is 'Lonzo' a big word for you or something?
Well yeah it's a big word, for people with really low levels of comprehension. Let me help you. I was referring to Lavar, not Lonzo, and referencing George Cohan's, "I don't care what you say about me, as long as you spell my name right." quote. He was saying any publicity is good publicity, hence my comments about Lavar getting all this publicity and people spelling his name right.

I wasn't saying Lonzo nor Lavar were big words. Hope that clears everything up for you. Happy Derbying.

True and I do think jordans probably look the best. I just can't do it. The 90's kid in my just won't let it happen. UNC hats and Jordan shoes. That's all it makes me think about.
