He was a regular at the High Street YMCA for years, saw him all the time. But I knew he was in bad shape, he took a terrible fall at the Alabama game last year and was severely injured. Was at the Willows trying to rehab, but obviously never recovered. Sorry to hear this.

He had a relative from Jefferson County,
also named Demaree, who suited up for Kentucky during the Mumme/Morris years.

Very sad to learn of this. I fondly recall Lonny frequently dropping by our tailgate to visit, eat and chat with us.
