Thinking about our bowl prospects.
Bama, Georgia, and likely Ole Miss are probably locks for a NY6 bowl or the playoff.
LSU, Tennessee, and Mizzou will probably all be ahead of us barring a collapse by whoever loses the UT-Mizzou game, and would likely be in the Citrus, ReliaQuest (formerly Outback), and Gator Bowl.
That leaves us, Texas A&M, and Auburn, likely competing for the Texas Bowl, Music City, and Duke’s Mayo Bowl. The Texas Bowl almost always takes an SEC west team, and we wouldn’t go to the Music City Bowl since we just went last year, which leaves the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
It’s looking like Florida will miss a bowl barring a win vs. LSU, FSU or Mizzou.
Kinda feels like even if we finish 8-4 we’re locked for the Duke’s Mayo Bowl (Liberty bowl could be in play too).
